I have a whole bunch of tapes and my camcorder is not working. I would like to put the videos I have onto VHS or even DVD if possible, but need to be able to view them. I know that there isn't an adapter, one of those VHS tapes that you just slip the camcorder tape into-those don't work. ...is there any way at all? aside from buying a new one....

I believe WALMART lets you return merchandise. While I'm not advocating just taking advantage of it but if you need a new camcorder why not try one out? You can use it to record the vids to PC and you might end up liking and keeping it but would have an option to return it if not satisfied.

a better way is go to WalMart and have them convert to DVD, that way you can view in your DVD player and put in your computer for editing. if they are worth saving, then this is the way to get it done.
