I wonder why this great parable wasn't in the Bible?

Obviously, it wouldn't have to say moccassins...but, possibly in your sandals. :-)

Seriously, why do so many fundamentalists pass judgement on so many, based on their opinion of scriptures...they don't know what they have walked...likewise, had the fundamentalist been born into a different home...what path may he be on now?

Regardless of the path YOUR feet have walked, the Truth is the Truth. It is eternal and changeless.

Does that grant Christians the right to "judge"? Certainly not ( Judge not, lest ye be judged...Matthew 7:1).

Does that REQUIRE Christians to share the Good News with others? You bet it does.

Yes, I've heard the saying. Yes, it's a wonderful saying. I don't know if there is some variance in the Bible, maybe.

Why do many pass judgment? Because they can. It doesn't mean we have to listen to them though. Often those that think they know the most, know the least.

The modern version is:

Don't trust someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes, then you have their shoes and they will never catch you in their bare feet? - smiles -

Yes, great saying. You're right, people should think about others before they condemn them.

I guess that we should all become serial murderers for a year or so before we 'pass judgement' on them and arrest them?
