And the Muslims and Jews both believe in the same God, and neither believe in the Divinity of Jesus:

Why did Muhammad like the Christians more, (The people of the Book)

Why do the Jews and Christians get along (mostly)

I am a Christian and I am NOT saying that we are Polytheists we believe in one God.

But Just wondering, you would think that the Muslims AND the Jews would hate the Christians more than anyone else?????

Or could it be that Muhammad understood the Trinity but just did not agree with it? Most Muslims on here claim that they cannot begin to understand it.

I think Muhammed didn't understand it.

Remember he was coming out of a culture that believed and worshiped many gods so, he wanted to stay as far away as he could from anything that seemed to speak of more than one god.

Jews don't like us very much because of the history of how they were treated when Christians tried to convert them. But that's okay, we still love them.

But in answer to your question, I found in John, the second epistle, that we Christians are to beware of those who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and antichrist. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Jesus Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Jesus Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to your house and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him, for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. 2 John 1:7-11.

So this disbelief stated way back around A.D. 256 and is still going on today.

To the best of my knowledge, Muhammad was raised Christian. However, his formation (that is teaching) was limited and sporatic. Reading the Quran you can see there were concepts (about Christianity) that he did not understand.

Such as the term "begotten." A big hang up for our Muslim friends. To them, the idea that Jesus was "begotten not made" means God had sex with Mary. Which they know to be incorrect. And they are right to think so.

So this hangs them up a bit. To be "begotten" is to be conceived through sex, which to them means Jesus is not divine.

I understand their thinking. I don't agree with it, but I understand how they arrived at that conclusion. AND, I appreciate the thought put into it.

No Jews simply hate any Gentile. For them Jewish is exclusive. No one can convert into it. Christians is the opposite of that but polytheism is what making them like a lost people.

It's all or nothing. If you don't believe in the trinity then you don't believe in God. Jesus said he was God. God said that he was one and God refers himself sometimes as US. Gen 1:26.

and try where the Bible is taught and believed there they receive the Messiah Jesus into their heart as he asks us to do Revelation 1:1 &3:19&20 otherwise you miss the joy of salvation and knowing the Messiah personally as a best friend as we do in Messianic Judaism.
