Yes you are allowed to join. Go for it and prove that not all Muslims are bad. Set an example for others.

Your religious preference doesn't matter in the military. If you were of legal age to join, and had no physical limitations, then yes, you could join. However, the real question, is would you be willing to put away some or all of your religious beliefs while serving? For example. You would not be allowed to cover your face. Scarfs are not an approved head gear. You would not be allowed to carry around a prayer rug. You would only be allowed to have military issued equipment. you would not be allowed to get into the muslim position of prayer four times a day, especially, if there was a conflict with military duties and responsiblities. But, once you sign that paper, your in, and your religious ideas, basically go out the window.

Yes you are allowed to join but I would recommend the Army National Guard over the Reserves. Your muslim faith is accepted by our soldiers and do realize that we are fighting for Iraq so that they can one day live the lives of the American people. If you interested, the Army National Guard has Muslim chaplin's that can become. But there are so many jobs to chose from. some offer $20,000 enlistment bonus and more. Check out www.1800goguard.com

If you are an American no problem. If not it may be easier for you to go active rather than reserve. Talk to an army recruiter. Actually talk to all the branches get all the info.
No one cares what religion or ethnicity you are as long as you can do your job.

Yes, but who says you won't fight in a war? Will you use your religion to get out of being deployed? Then why join if you only want the benefits but not the work?

They're allowed, but you might not get in for psychological reasons. Are you nuts? A Muslim woman in the US military? Don't get me wrong, I think if women of any nationality want to serve the army, that's their choice. But to be Muslim in the US right now is like being Jewish in Grenada during the Spanish Inquisition! Maybe in the future it would be something to consider, but your timing is WAY off given the current state of affairs. The prejudice for being a woman would be enough to break the spirit of anyone, but to be Muslim on top of that... let me just say you don't need to bring more worry to your family at this point in time.

Yes they are. However, you might get stuck fighting a politically correct war. I wanted to join military but decided against it because the of the rules of engagment on our troops

All religions and both sexes are allowed. You may or may not be accepted for a variety of other reasons, though, so don't jump to conclusions, and be aware that serving may require of you things that you might be loathe to do.

If you have taken American Citizenship, then the armed forces would welcome you, as they are always in need of
an interpretor, and If you are seriously considering joining in a show of courage and support for this Nation, then we would
all be happy to have you.
