why didn't jesus use his superpowers to prevent his crucifixion? let's look at all the things he could do. he could raise the dead, he could walk on water, he could turn water into wine, and he apparently he was god too, which means he could do anything, heck he could probably even fly around the earth real fast like superman. so why didn't he do any of that? think about it. just before he was captured he could have made it rain, but in stead of rain he could have made wine fall from the sky. so as everyone is drinking up all the wine falling, jesus and his pals make an escape.

Super powers is the wrong way to phrase it.

Jesus was resurrected three days later after he defeated Satan in hell.

If Jesus would have used the power of God then his mission would have failed. He came to this world to be a sacrifice for the remission of sins. Even yours. He died for you even though you don't love him he loves you. Your sins were laid upon him that day and through him you can have eternal life.

If Satan would have known this he would have never killed him.

Jesus could have used His superpowers to prevent the crucifixion, but then we would not have our Savior. Jesus was in the very center of God's will. Jesus did exactly what He came to do.

People prayed that He would be spared, but that is why it is the best thing to pray God's will to happen...because that is the best way even when we do not understand it.

The Father sent Jesus into the world to live a perfect life without sin, and than Jesus would qualify as the perfect sacrifice that takes our sins away.

Satan tempted Jesus to receive glory in different ways, but Jesus was not tricked, but did the Father's will and fulfilled every thing that He was to do.

Great question! Many have asked it. None of them bothered to read the Bible to find the answer. Jesus did have the capability to do miracles, which He did. But He didn't just come to be a nice guy, doing tricks and being articulate. He came to save us. The method God had determined was His death. He could have saved Himself. God could have saved Him. But the mission was to save the world. He chose to complete it, and obey God. If he would have saved Himself, we would have all been lost.

Because he did it on purpose and wanted to die for us, for sins. He was the son of God, not a god.. But in order to make these miracles he depended on God for help to make a point that he was the son of god...

Because He wanted to save us at the cost of so much blood.

Jesus could have stopped his Crucifixion at any time. However if he had, we would not have salvation today.
