Im making a dinner for my girlfriend and she loves simple foods. So all I will add to the meatballs is salt and oregano. What would be the best way to cook them? Fry? Boil? Please help!

It depends on what type of sauce you are making, and how she likes the meatballs.

If she likes soft meatballs then sautee them until they are browned and let them finish in the sauce. If she likes a firmer meat ball then pop them in the oven for about 1/2 hour.

First cook them in a skillet on the stovetop for about 10 minutes on Med-High heat. Be sure to turn them over a few times for even cooking. There will be some exess juices/oil left in the pan. SAVE some of the oil (just a few tablespoons) that is left over in the pan. Ok, move the meatballs to a cookie sheet and cook them in the oven on about 425F for another 10minutes. Return the meatballs to the skillet with the oil. Add the sauce right into the skillit, stir up the oil, meatballs and sauce. Serve.

You also need to add about 1/2 cup of cracker crumbs. Then pan fry them in about 1 inch of oil. About 5-10 minutes depending on how big you make them. Drain them on a paper towel and let them simmer in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.

I like to bake mine. Put them on a cookie sheet in the oven at 350F for about an hour, depending on the size of the meatballs. It is healthier than frying them. Boiling them can cause them to fall apart.
