Hello, I need to have one of my teeth pulled on top. It is noticeable when I smile. I cant afford a bridge and a crown is not an option. My dentist said she would make a flipper for $400.00. She didn't exactly tell me how this stays in though. Is it held by glue, does anybody have any pictures of how it would look? thanks very much

It is kinda like a retainer that fits over yur exsisting teeth that give the illusion of perfect teeth. They fit pretty snug because they are specifically molded to fit your teeth but you can use dentrue adhesive if you need to.

i think it just pops in and out. i saw it on a show with kids in pagents who dont have the front teeth. kinda weird in that situation but seems like a good alternative for others.

A DENTAL FLIPPER IS PRIMARILY FOR COSMETIC REASONS. YOU CAN'T EAT WITH IT IN PLACES BECAUSE IT'S NOT MEANS TO BE A FUNCTIONAL APPLIANCE. WHAT KEEPS IT IN PLACE CAN BE EITHER ITS SHAPE OF WIRE CLASPS. ADHESIVE CAN BE USED AT TIMES.
