What is this - your 6th question on the same subject in the last 2 days?
I was there - and I can tell you for a fact that the people at that illegal immigration rally were given several lawful orders to disburse, in english and in spanish.
The poor little illegals responded with " f u pigs" "f the police" and "kill whitey."
Have you ever been hit with a rock or a bottle? It hurts a heck of a lot more than rubber pellets or being pushed with a baton.
The reporter from Telemundo was given several opportunities to step back - of course you wil never hear her response, because the only part of the tape you will see is what makes the police look bad.
Get off the soapbox, leave Chief Bratton alone, not that he would give a rats *** about your sob sister opinion, and let the police do their job.
BTW - the FBI ALWAYS investigates allegations of police brutality in L.A. They usually do so at the invitation of the department, because it lessens the burden on Internal Affairs.
ANd I thought you were from OC - so how is Villaraigosa YOUR mayor?

I wasn't there and therefore cannot give a plausible answer since I don't know all of the details. But I will say this; be careful of the information you receive from the news media. I do not trust ANY of the news media. They have taken one of our most precious rights (Freedom Of The Press) and dragged it through the mud. Most of the media will distort the facts by selective reporting and editing. This is done either to sensationalize a story for ratings, or to promote some political bias, or reflect some personal agenda.
All government, including police, should be held accountable for their actions. That is the basis of any democracy. But we also need to make the press accountable for their actions as well. If they have a biased opinion, then they should say so. It seems that the LAPD has always been a whipping boy for the press. Though I've never worked for the LAPD, and in fact never even been to LA; there's no way that I believe that all the bad press was deserved.
Unless I was there and witnessed it firsthand, I would be careful about making assumptions based on what I saw on the news. You can bet that not everything was shown. Take what the press reports with a grain of salt.

I must admit that I was too busy working to have seen any of the footage of this particular incident... although I did know that protests would be going on in different parts of the country. From what I'm hearing about just here on YA, I have to say that the actions of these illegals have only served to sway the American public against them. They would have been much smarter to just keep a low profile, as in the past. I hope all the rock and bottle throwers were detained and will soon be deported....

Listen youre being really ignorant. It was found that the crowds at this "peaceful protest" had gotten out of control and the decision was made to clear the area. If the protest were peaceful as was asserted these people wouldve had no issue with clearing out for a short time so that order could be restored. Instead people wanted to be ignorant because of their misconception of what individual rights are. Just goes to show you that illegals dont understand what the constitution of the United States actually says. We the people of the United States hold these truths to be self evident that ALL men are created equal. If you want to call someone a fascist you can go to Cuba or Venezuela and complain about us there. Bite me douchebag.

Well, the media will try to spin it in their favor, plus should the police force take bottles and rocks thrown at them? I think that there should have been a warning to disperse first (if there was not one) and then the use of force. Plus most of the protesters were illegal aliens so they have no basis to sue the city because they are not protected under the constitution.

I agree. The City of Los Angeles should be sued...by its legal law abiding residents...for allowing this march of illegals to happen to begin with.
News flash for you. Reporters are not allowed to disobey a lawful oder to disperse. They don't move they get treated the same way anyone else will be. They'll BE moved.
Oh, and what is a "crudential". Is that the crud I wipe off my shoes?
Steel: Metro is going to take the hit on this one...again.

You answered your own questions when you started your diatribe with an apology because you are p***ed off.
You obviously have already made up your mind and are just looking for a soapbox to rant.
The FBI is normally called in when situations regard civil unrest....so that is Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

illegal aliens+police+rocks=someone getting tear gassed and hit with a baton.
Someone throws a rock at an officer. Bad things will happen. Good Job to the officers. To bad they didn't hit the camera and destroy the recording.

Well of course if the crowds would obey police, and of course if they were not out trying to advocate illegal activity.
Yes a class action law suit against all of those illegal is called for.

Did you see the areas of protest after it was over?
Did you see the litter all over the place?
And they want to live here? And you support them?
You're absolutely nuts.
