I just bought a 2007 Dodge Mega cab Laramie. I tried doing the kbb.com to get an estimate but not sure if I am doing it right. I just want to know what others would pay monthly. Its fully loaded, leather, entertainment center, tow package, V8 4x4,navigation system. My payments are $520 for 5 years at 7.3% apr. I can definitley afford the payments and dont have any complaints but just want a "MATURE professional" opinion if its a good deal?????

I buy new about every 2 years, and I dont know where you live (the one with the mortgage payment) but a mortgage where I live (north shore on Oahu) is well over $2,000/month I would loooove to have a $500 mortgage.

You don't mention what type of down payment you made. Assuming you made no down payment, $520 x 60 months = $31200. Sounds like a pretty good deal for a Mega cab.

I don't know what your credit is like, and in the past 7% interest for a car loan was a great bargin. These days auto manufacturers have struggled, and many offer lower interest rates.

Overall I'd say it was a good deal.

noyb...where do you live? Wow, 528 for a mortgage payment. I wish I had that type of mortgage.

shop it tuned up, clean clean oil and air clear out, use chevron large unleaded, and depart the inventory length tires, you upload 33 and you will lose a pair miles a gallon common, and not even the gasoline injected autos get 20mpg gasoline injection and an exceptionally easy foot and inventory tires perchance, 350 is And continually has been a paintings horse and customarily in a heavy truck it somewhat is what you have its 14 to sixteen down hill with a tail wind. None of that chilly air injection crap works or perhaps potential chips are valueless, so save your cash, savour your truck for what it became into made for in 1980 which became right into a solid stable working truck.

why buy new? The problem with owning a new car is the fact of depreciation. The best car or truck for that matter is too buy something 2 or 3 years old and keep it for a few years. If you take care of the truck it could last up to 250,000 or more miles on it. If you make a living as a salesperson I guess you need the new truck. That is if you have to drive to potential clients you do a lot of driving and it is important to have something to attract customers.

looks like your amount to finance is right under $26,000.00
and looking at the invoice of a 2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Laramie 160.5" 4x4 invoices at about 38873 so it depends on what you put down and your trade value. Mark up is 13.38% of sticker price on that truck, hope it is helpful!!
If it feels like a good deal to you that is the best price to pay

The actual cost of the truck is $ 31,200 out the door? That sounds like a pretty good deal to me, considering the options you got. Good luck and enjoy your new Dodge (and drive safely!)

Honestly, it doesn't sound like you got a great deal. Your car payment is $8 more than my mortgage payment!

The interest rate is pretty good, but the truck will cause you headaches more than likely. These don't enjoy a real good reliability rating.

go on http://www.edmunds.com/ and put in all the information for your truck, they will tell you what other people are paying for the same truck and you can compare that with what you got it for.
