Do you mean, contraception? The pill, of course.

I agree with n2mama, the hormone types of birth control can really mess with your body. For years I was on the pill and I couldnt figure out why my body was so screwed up, I gained weight, every once in a while my heart would begin racing, I got severe headaches and my #1 complaint was that I had absolutely no sex grive at all. Finally I figured I had tried correcting everything else with no success, maybe it was my pill and I stopped taking it. My body has done a complete 180, I am feeling so much better now that I am off it and I am so angry with myself for doing this to my body for so long.
We now use condoms, and the sex is great with them. I wouldnt ever go back to the pill again. But this is seriously something you should speak with your Doctor about, its nice to hear other womens POV's, but decisions about yor body should be made between you and your Dr.

every family planning has got its own merit and demerits. pills has got some side effect like head realing/nausea/weight gain/weighe loss etc. similarly hormonal birth control, ie the , Depo shot, IUD are never advisable as they have got some impact on the hormones of our body. c-t has got some impact on m/c and there is some amount of pain in the lower abdomen but it vanishes after few days. but there is a chance of weight gain. but the advantage is u wont be at the mercy of ur spouse. the other alternative is condoms which is 97% safe as far as pregnancy is considered but depends upon ur spouse. ask him if likes condoms or not else go 4 c-t (cupper-t)

I really don't like the pill. It really messes with my body and hormones, and the potential side affects really scare me. I find that condoms with spermacidal lubricant are very effective. It also helps if you have a general idea of when you are most likely to get pregnant (i figure about a week before my monthly) and keep from doing anything during that time.

I'm not a huge fan of hormonal birth control, ie the pill, Depo shot, IUD, etc. Did that when we were first married, and it really messed with my body. Barrier methods are good, especially when you combine them with natural family planning-knowing when you are most likely to get pregnant. After we are sure our family is complete we are going to either get tubes tied or vasectomy, depending on insurance and ease of procedure.

The pill...prescribed by a doctor is the safest.
But you can also try "Today"...but I think it is about 90% pregnancy proof...you have a risk of 10%.
