Did mommy & daddy teach them to hate or did they have a bad experience growing up with other racial groups? Why does the line of distinction for so many people always boil down to skin color?

P.S. I did not intentionally put this in the immigration section. I'm not talking about immigration. Yahoo automatically selected 'immigration' as the correct field for this question. Why? I don't know.

What race haters. Mexican is not a race any more than American is a race. Oriental is a race, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, ET AL are ethnic groups within that race. What the heck do they teach in public schools?

They couldn't have grown up in the south or be from Tall. County Alabama. Or could it be that they have never felt the rumble of a race car in their pants standing on top of their R.V. holding the coldest beer in the world with all of your friends and that #3 car is in the L...D on the last lap and what color am I? I did get this sorta mixed up at first. I did grow up in Alabama and I'm not racist . My friends are different colors, I don't hate any one because their skin is only another color ..other than mine.

Yes, generational beliefs play a roll as well as bad experiences..

I have only encountered the bad experiences but not racial beliefs..So what do I do with that? Forgive and forget or fester and boil with hatred... I choose a middle road of cautiousness
in whom I spend my time with and it's very limited because the hostility is on the flip side..I am a white American citizen 46 years long! But my heritage is very colorful if you know what I mean.....

Yes Parents, but it seems to me that a lot of people cite personal experiences.

Someone bullied, cut in line, pushed, beat up their kid, or had a black person ignore or not help them either at DMV or on the phone because they were white.

A lot of shows have a majority of black offenders which incite whites.

And what is it with the intimidating "head maneuvers" of black women when they get upset, their head bobs all over the place, well, that makes me hang back.

There are some Black people that ask to be disliked by the way they present themselves. I said "some" not all.

What does your "race hater" question/statement have to do with immigration?

It has long been held in the USA and the rest of the world that a country has a right control its immigration.

I know there is no real excuse to argue for illegal aliens, but to falsely attempt to bring in race demeans the real issues of racism.

Educate yourself on an issue instead of just making unsupported conclusions!

Where do those who play the race card get confused about the difference between racism and wanting to enforce the law? Every time there is a question posted having to do with ILLEGAL immigration someone yells "RACIST"!! No wonder our country is so screwed up.

Race Haters, that’s a new one?!
So are you telling me that every one who opposes illegal immigration is a racist!? Then the whole world is racist, because the WHOLE world controls it’s immigration, which would then entitle them to oppose illegal immigration.
And also, why is this in the Immigration section, what are you trying to imply?

Jane Elliott's experiments imply that there is a natural human tendency towards seeking membership in an 'in group' and dispising members of 'out groups,' and that doing so boosts self-esteem and accademic performance of the in-group (something that is rarely mentioned when her experiments are discussed), while hurting those in the 'out group.'

Alternately, the Cress Theory of racism postulates that whites become racists to compensate for thier genetic inferiority (such as melanin deficiency). I suspect the irony of that is intentional.

However, I believe the real answer to your question is that they get it from the people who label them 'race haters' - people who project the mirror of thier own prejudices upon others who dare to disagree with them on certain issues, or worse, cynically use false accusations of racism to stifle legitimate political debate.

You must not get out much.
Every race is different,, each wants different things,,,put two people of any race, that wants something different and you will have an argument.

I think probably a combination of the two that you just mentioned. It is basically the first thing people see, skin color. So it is usually the first thing attacked.
