Quote from Nebuchadnezzar: "Now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise,
exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are
true and His ways are just. And He is able to humble those who
walk in pride."

Dan. 4:37

I am glad that I am going to heaven by God's
grace and not your earthly- so- called wisdom.
Only God knows the hearts of men and He holds
your breath in His very hand. Dan. 5:23.

Amazing isn't it. The most powerful man in the world brought to his knees.

Are you doing a study in Daniel? Or just reading it through?

Nebuchadnezzar was indeed a king of the greatest heathen nation to ever rule the known world. He had to be humbled, before he could see the character of God and the claims that He held upon His life. Goes to show that no case is too hard for the Lord of heaven. In God's mercy, He allows chastisement so that our eyes will be made open, and that we will realize that we are but men.

Not likely...Nebuchadnezzar saw many incredible things before turning quickly back to his prideful ways.

Remember, Soloman said 1000x more things about God which were beautiful and amazing. But did he show his love for God as he grew older?

Hey, but ya never know...

Isn't it amazing that King Nebuchadnezzar can turn to the Lord and acknowledge him, being the King of Babylon, while Solomon who had the most wisdom of any man before or since him, sank pitifully into wanton idolotry and sexual immorality?

And? The Lord will take ANYONE who repents, when was this not made clear to you? Have you not been told over and over and over and over that He wants ALL of us to repent? If someone did and gets into heaven regardless of what they did, then why wouldn't YOU get in if you did the same?
