Jehovah's Witnesses actually *DO* believe the bible to teach that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Jehovah's Witnesses love and respect and honor Christ. However, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Thanks again for an opportunity to share what the bible actually says about the distinct persons of Jesus Christ the Son and Jehovah God the Father!

I know what you are saying but here is where the confusion comes in. Jesus is a god, he is a divine one and as the Trinity people like to point out in John 1:1, he is with God. Now, the Father, is Jehovah. He alone is Almighty God. As it is explained, Jesus the son is in the "bosom position" of the Father. He is "First Born" going back eons of time. Everything else came into existence through this order. People are particularly confused because of the churches taking Jehovah's name out of the bible close to 7,000 times. Instead they put the word God or Lord. So, naturally, people think that Jesus Christ is the almighty. This is one of the most "crafty acts" that Satan does to mislead. He is misleading the whole earth. Re 12:9 (This is why the world is in chaos)

We do.
We believe in miracles, Jesus performed many.
Whatever the cost, Jehovah's witnesses adhere closely to the Bible. They have not invented a new religion. They merely follow what is written in the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel, which is the foundation of true religion.
What, then do we believe? Below r some of our teachings.
Read and see whether these have the ring of truth or not.

No Trinity---Deut. 6:4; Lu 22:42; Ro 5:12
No Immortal Soul----Ecc. 9:5
Resurrection---Acts 24:15
No Hellfire---Jer. 7:31
No Clergy Class---Luke 18:14; Matt. 23:4-12
No Idolatry---John 4:24
Neutral in Politics---John 17:16; Rom. 13:1,5-7
High Moral Standards---John15:12,13; Gal.5:22,23;
Eph. 4:25- 28
The Approaching End of This World---Dan. 2:44

What makes our time different from other times? Fulfillment of prophecy shows that we are living in the last days of this system of things, this world. Today, the issue is, Do the things we do please God? God is one, and there can only be one true religion. This religion cannot be out of harmony w/ the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospels. Hence, we must examine that Word.
That is what Jehovah's Witnesses do. whatever your religion, you need to do the same. Nobody can make a decision for you in this regard. Remember: "Each of us will render an account for himself to God."
No individual is born a Witness of Jehovah. Every single Witness makes a personal decision. After making an honest search of God's word, the searcher recognizes truth, and on this basis he dedicates himself to the true God, whose name is Jehovah.

They Did Not Sin Against the Spirit
11 Occasionally, Christians who have confessed their serious sin and who have received spiritual help from congregation elders may still be plagued by concern over past transgressions of God’s law. (James 5:14) If we are personally troubled in this way, very likely we will benefit from considering what the Scriptures say about those whose sins were forgiven.
12 King David sinned gravely in connection with Bath-sheba, the wife of Uriah. Having seen this beautiful woman bathing as he looked down from his nearby rooftop, David had her brought to his palace and had sexual relations with her. Later informed that she was pregnant, he schemed to have her husband, Uriah, sleep with her to cover up the adultery. When that plot failed, the king arranged for Uriah to be killed in battle. Thereafter, Bath-sheba became David’s wife and bore him a child who died.—2 Samuel 11:1-27.
13 Jehovah handled matters involving David and Bath-sheba. God forgave David, apparently taking into account such factors as his repentance and the Kingdom covenant made with him. (2 Samuel 7:11-16; 12:7-14) Bath-sheba evidently had a repentant attitude, for she was privileged to become the mother of King Solomon and an ancestress of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:1, 6, 16) If we have sinned, it is good to remember that Jehovah takes note of our repentant attitude.
14 The extent of Jehovah’s forgiveness is also illustrated in the case of King Manasseh of Judah. He did what was bad in Jehovah’s eyes. Manasseh set up altars to Baal, worshipped “all the army of the heavens,” and even built altars to false gods in two temple courtyards. He made his sons pass through the fire, encouraged spiritistic practices, and caused the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem “to do worse than the nations that Jehovah had annihilated from before the sons of Israel.” The warnings delivered by God’s prophets were not heeded. Eventually, the king of Assyria took Manasseh captive. While in captivity, Manasseh repented and humbly kept praying to God, who forgave him and restored him to the kingship in Jerusalem, where he promoted true worship.—2 Chronicles 33:2-17.
15 Centuries later, the apostle Peter sinned grievously by denying Jesus. (Mark 14:30, 66-72) However, Jehovah forgave Peter “in a large way.” (Isaiah 55:7) Why? Because Peter was genuinely repentant. (Luke 22:62) There was clear evidence of God’s forgiveness when on the day of Pentecost, Peter was privileged to give a bold witness about Jesus. (Acts 2:14-36) Is there any reason to believe that God would be less forgiving toward truly repentant Christians today? “If errors were what you watch, O Jah, O Jehovah, who could stand?” sang the psalmist, “for there is the true forgiveness with you.”—Psalm 130:3,

Jehovah's Witnesses DO believe that Jesus is the son of GOD. We do not believe him to be GOD the Son as per the trinity teaching.

Well, I don't know where you got your information about Jehovah's Witnesses not believing that Jesus is the Son of God, because we certainly do. We do not believe that Jesus is God Almighty...

Psalm 83:18: "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."

Of course,Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is the Son of God,Jehovah.
We do not believe that Jesus is equal to his heavenly Father or that he forms part of a trinity God.
We believe the entire Bible to be the inspired Word of God.And as such we do believe the miracle and healing accounts recorded therein.
Miracles served a number of important purposes. Most basic, they helped to confirm that a man was receiving power and support from God (Ex.4:1-9).Both with Moses and Jesus, people drew this same conclusion.Through Moses,God had promised a coming prophet.Jesus' miracles aided observers to identify him as that One.(John6:14).
When Christianity was young, miracles worked in conjuction with the message to aide individuals to that God was behind Christanity and had turned from the earlier Jewish system of things. In time miraculous gifts present in the first century would pass away. They were a necessity during the infancy of the Christian congregation.(1Cor.13:8-11)
Today we do not see God performing such miracles because all necessary information is present and available. It is not necessary for God to perform such miracles at this time to attest to Jesus Christ as his appointed deliverer,or to provide proof that he is backing up his servants.

I suggest you become more thorougly informed before posing suppositional mendacity such as this for all to see.

I'm sorry to break it to you but you have been lied to and it makes you look very bad.

please seek the truth, do not continue in your ignorance.

{I guess I wont be getting 'best answer' on this one!}

I'm sure that there are JWs who will answer your "question", but since I *have* studied all of the *major* belief systems (both theist and atheist) first-hand for the past 25 years; I will expose the lie that you have been duped into believing. The fact is that JWs do indeed believe Yhshua/Jesus is "the son of God"

not only that, but they are one of the few religions (and the only large one) that know and call God by His Divine Holy Name YHWH/Jehovah instead of mere titles like lord, dude, man, god, hey you, creator, nebulous-person-with-no-name, etc.

another thing I discovered in my research is that they are the *only* worldwide organization following the example of Yhshua/Jesus and the first century Christians of going from door to door continually all their lives, both the men and the women preaching the good news of the Kingdom!

If Christians are supposed to follow the example of Christ (see 1 Peter 2:21) then it seems that the JWs are the only ones actually doing that!

Acts 5:42

J.W's DO believe that Jesus is God's son.
But Jesus is NOT Almighty God himself.
Heasling and miracles ceased with the apostles.
(1 Corinthians 13:8) Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

(Jeremiah 32:21) And you proceeded to bring forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt, with signs and with miracles and with a strong hand and with a stretched-out arm and with great fearsomeness.

Miracles used to happen but since Paul said so, they no longer do.
Also consider that Satan is the 'ruler', still, of this world, and can cause 'miraculous' things to happen, and make them appear as if from God, when in fact they are not.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

Jehovah's Witnesses do believe that Jesus is the son of God Jehovah. It says that in the Bible. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses, so that's how I know that.

Jehovah's Witnesses DO believe Jesus is the son of God.
What they don't believe is that Jesus is God.
They do believe healing and miracles were happening in Jesus' time, but they were prophecied to come to an end.
"...whether there are gifts of prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
1 Corinthians 13:8.
History shows miracles faded as the Apostles died off.
