Christians pray for the world to end. They worship a celibate Hanged God. They're 99% atheist because they think all religions are fake except for theirs. They're judgmental and elitist. They wish eternal torment upon all who don't join them. Christianity is basically a death cult. Why don't more Goths see this and want to join? Priest and nuns wear lots of black. If pain, limitation, and being oppressed by an angry Authority in the sky turns you on, it could be a nice way to avoid working a real job.

Christians do not pray for the world to end ... they just pray that Jesus would come back to earth. Yes Christians think that other religions are fake cause they believe that there is only one God. They are judgemental ... but you can't be perfect. They try not to be judgemental .. but everyone sins, so they say sorry. They don't wish eternal torment upon everyone else, but it says in the Bible that people who don't have their name in the book of life, will go to hell!
I think you are being a bit judgemental by saying that goths should be Christian ... you are judging people by what they wear ... you shouldn't do that! The bible says that "Man looks on the outside, but God looks on the heart!" God doesn't care weither people wear black or white ... all that matters is that they love God as God first loved them!

In a sense you are correct, but also not quite because you are referring to Christianity as a whole. In reality you are speaking about Catholics, which in its heyday was exactly as you describe. However, you can't exactly take something so out of context and apply it to modern thinking. Those people were hopeless, uneducated, and suffering from short life expectancies full of disease, poverty, corrupted feudal systems, and more. They believed so deeply and "gothly" because that was just how life was.
About Goths, I guess I do share a bit of your amusement, but in my 21 years of life I have yet to meet either a "real" Goth who felt that way or a "real" Christian who was as intolerant as you described. You are doing exactly what you are complaining about, you are looking at the "image" of two different stereotypical lifestyles and arrogantly pushing them both into the same catagory. I have my frustrations with Christianity also but referring to it as a "death cult" is inaccurate, so your point is failed by your ignorance and intolerance. : (

You paint with a broad brush!
There are good and bad in every religion, faith, nationality, race, sex, age group...
Give credit to those of us who have a brain and can think rationally for ourselves.
With that being said, I belive in God, and I worship Christ who died for my sins on the cross and rose the 3rd day.
Christ is about being happy and loving and giving... Praising him with a glad heart, with music and shouting!
Not everything Christian is sad.

hahaha I DO believe in God but its so true. Christianity has turned into dress up, go every sunday to give money and fall asleep. I don't believe that everyone should die if they don't join, I think they should burn if they don't do what God tells them to. Thats what we are here for, to please God. I don't believe that ANY religion is right, I believe that you need to do what the Bible tells you to and praise God. Noone is right. Not even you. God is right and I suggest you make him happy.

Goths need to get hair cuts, shave, take all the piercings off and try and remove all those nasty tattoos... Then ditch that devil music they listen to. Then Goths would be more Christian-like.

Wow, I missed the memo on all of that. All this time I thought we were to be humble and loving, and never thought of myself as an atheist.
