I wouldn't "symbolize" Muslim women by their veils any more than I would "symbolize" Western women by pornography. Speaking as a Western woman, I much prefer my world, in which I can hold down a job outside of the home, pursue higher education, own property, marry who I chose, leave my house after dark without a male escort, and have legal recourse should I be raped or assaulted, to the world inhabited by a women living in a conservative Muslim society.
Pornography and all.

Hello! Love Exists? Are you out there! She was on the JURY!!! She's supposed to be listening to TESTIMONY! It's hard enough to get a fair trial without having the people judging you not even paying attention to what is going on! Haven't you ever heard the expression-"The devil's in the details"? She'd just as soon miss the trial, let alone the facts! As for how she was dressed, well, I do agree that it's still a free country and she can dress as she chooses.

I agree- it's funny how people will say women involved in pornography are free to do so but the fact is they are nothing more than property either - just property that brings in and costs a much bigger price.
