Why do you tend to judge me
cause I'm of different race.
Why do you tend to hate me
cause I'm from a different place.

Why is it that you think I'm stupid
because of where I'm from.
In my own opinion,
You have classified yourself as dumb.

You act as if I'm a criminial
evil and a crook.
And all this because
your job from you I took..

All this hatred that you show
is nothing more than envy.
Why can't you just see
that you are not better nor worse than me.

I was born in this country,
I grew up just around the corner.
The difference between you and I,
is that my father crossed that border.

He has struggled in the past
to make our lives all better.
I admire him for that
why do u have to be a hater.

And even though I respect you,
You show me nothing more than racism.
When will this all stop
When will you stop your criticism?

We are no longer that minority..
Nor will we be for ever more.
We will one day rise above low standards
that's what we're fighting for.

So I suggest you learn to love my kind
and just be all that you can be.
Cause all your racism and your criticism
can no longer bother me....

I understand why your father did what he did ( regardless of the legality) , He wanted what all parents do, a better life for their kids. Although I wish everyone followed ALL the laws ( not just the immigration ones) , heck we're all human. We take desperate measures some times. Judge not lest ye be judged.

Good Poem! It's a tricky game to think of words that sound the same! I don't judge you, please don't think that I do. My Grandparents came to this country legally and became proud American citizens! If anyone noticed their accent and they were asked where the came from they would state the small town in Illinois where they lived. Then People would ask what nationality they were the would say" We are American" in a very proud voice! Finally people would say, "Where were you born then!" And they would say,"My old country was Belgium!" We want all people to come to this country legally, and become Americans like our families did before us! Are families learned English. That is the language of this country! We don't want two flags flown and we don't want to have to speak Spanish! Do you speak with an accent? That is okay, no problem!

What are you...like 14 or 15 years old ? How immature !!!! The issue is not about hate or race. It is about being LEGAL and paying taxes. If you love this country so much then why don't you go join our military and go to IRAQ to prove your love for AMERICA.
My ancesters and relatives struggled and worked damn hard too and they did it LEGALLY. Matter of fact ALL my family is LEGAL and pay taxes.
Why are you too good to be legal and pay taxes ? Why do you think you are above everyone else ? Why do you change the subject around when the going gets tough ?????
AND a poem..... my goodness..stick to the issue at hand

That little ditty was worth 2 points, thx. Nothing like completely avoiding a problem by deflecting criticism to a totally different subject. No one minds folks crossing the border. What we do mind is crossing it in the dead of night across a river or draw so that they can avoid all that troublesome paperwork and doing it the right way. A country that cannot control its borders is inviting more problems then they can handle. Guess what? We are there.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR RACE!!! The reason people have prejudice against Mexican people is because of the problems related to illegal immigration. I have absolutely nothing against Mexicans as a people and I would never judge anyone based on their ethnicity. However, I'm going to be mad at ANYONE who enters the country in which I live illegally.

You can not demand that someone love or even like you. Likewise you can not go to another country and demand to be a citizen without following the rule of law in that country, what type of message do you think you send to the citizens of the US when you deliberately disobey our laws?

My grandfather immigrated (legally) from Ireland, he worked really hard obeyed the laws and built a life for himself and his family here in the US but you want that without taking the proper steps to get it....

In fact you want special treatment you want to ignore everyone in line and say me first, what message does that send? Isn't that a form of hate? Hate and disrespect for those who are going the legal route to citizenship?

If you are a legal citizen of the US I am happy for you, your culture only makes us a stronger nation, but if you are here illegally you are undercutting all those who follow the rules and earn citizenship.

You say we are haters but I do not know of many countries who would provide work, health-care, education, transportation and other government assistance (including interpreter service) for non citizens. If we hate you so much why take care of you? Doesn't really make sense now does it?

Actions- speak louder than words.
Obey the law, show the country some respect.
Show your intelligence- learn English

Then you will be treated with the respect, you think you earned simply because you have the ability to sneak across an unsecured border.

ADD: To hate you, I would actually have to really know you. I hate your illegal activities, I hate that you think you have the right to break the law.

You dont want racism, follow the immigrations laws, dont come here illegaly. Stop using fake ID's that put us, the tax payes, in so many problems. Stop using our hospitals if you dont have money to pay for the services. Stop using our school system because you do not pay state or federal taxes. And, those jobs that according to you "we dont want", are those jobs that do not pay the minimum wage, according to our laws. So, you're not only violating our immigration laws, and many other laws, like using fake IDs, you're also encouraging the unscrupulous employers who do not want to pay wages according to the law.
