My girlfriend doesn't like my butt being so harry and mentioned to me about shaving it. I was thinking about it, but i don't want to get all itching and get ingrown hairs. What are some good options for removing the hair on my butt? Are there places that will wax it for me? Or should i just do it myself?
Plus it will help with the dingleberries.

Don't give in!!! Do you point out all of her imperfections? Probably not. And a hairy backside is not an imperfection anyway. I wouldn't change a thing. At the most a thinning trim, but don't get crazy and shave! Only body builders, pro wrestlers, surgery patients, swimmers and metrosexuals should shave hair that is outside of the area between their Adam's apple, nose and ears.
Wear your mane with pride, son! Tell her how it's going to be and don't cave. Good luck, little fella.

Well you might think twice. When the hair grows back on your butt, if you shave it, it is much more likely to become ingrown and infected. I doubt you want to have a big boil on your butt. Sorry to be gross, but this is true. If you still want a smooth butt, I would have your partner cut as much hair as possible with scissors first. Then, cover the area with lots of shaving cream. Next, carefully and slowly shave the area with the grain (against the grain causes more ingrown hairs). Finally, cover the area with a cooling gel like you use after you're in the sun, the kind with aloe vera. Good luck!

Any type of cutting will make the hair grow in hard. That will be painful and uncomfortable, Hair removal cream will take it off, and when it grows back it will be like it always was. Waxing is more permanent. It HURTS! However, if you wax regularly, the hair will eventually grow in lighter and finer.
You will have to check in your area. If the tech will do a bikini wax, I don't see why the theci wouldn't do a butt wax!

first, lather the butt up and stand up in front of the mirror and BAM shave that hairy butt.. till your as bald as a cue ball!!!!

I would look into hair removal cream, that should be easier.
