For one, Moses wasn't sinless; though he was faithful, and that is counted as righteousness, that is not the same as sinless -- having never sinned.
Another reason is that Moses only had his own life, which if it were sinless, he could offer to pay for only one person's life -- certainly not the whole nation of Israel, and even more so, not the whole world. Jesus had created all of mankind; therefore, he was responsible for all of mankind.
Also, there are many more aspects to Jesus' sacrifice than just his dying for our sins. Jesus, having been God, was also the connecting tie between God and man. God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." Jesus' mortal life was to show that we have this potential in us. If somehow Moses could have fulfilled our justification, we would still be eternally separate from God, with the words "image and likeness" only empty rhetoric.
In actuality, however, Moses is a TYPE of Jesus. In that Moses saved Israel, Jesus will save all of mankind. In that Moses mediated at Mt. Sinai between God and Israel, Jesus is the mediator for all mankind. In that Moses judged Israel, Jesus will judge all mankind. And so on...
There are many other reasons, and I'm sure that I don't even know them all, but that should give you food for thought.

God waited for Jesus to come because Jesus is without sin. No one on the face of the earth was sinless. No one met the requirement of God for a sacrifice. Thats why the only way into heaven is through Jesus. Accepting him as Lord and savoir ensure eternal security. 1 John 3 verse 16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. Remember God so loved the world=) Please if this doesnt help email and i will give more details if you desire

Simple -- if God wished Moses' life in exchange for the forgiveness of his brethrens' sins, He would have taken it when it was offered (Exodus 32:30-31). However, God advised that the Jew who has sinned against Him will die. In other words, God didn't say it was impossible for one man to die for another's sins; He said it was not acceptable to Him *at that time.*
Later, Jesus' life was accepted by God as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. In this and other ways, He was a prophet like Moses, as prophesied at Deut. 18:15.

Please don't try to tell Christians about their religion. You obviously don't know much about the Bible and haven't read it, if you had, you would already know the answer. It says in the Bible that Jesus had to be sacrificed because he is the son of God, Moses was a man, and therefore his death would mean little to God, ie. God gave us his best, Moses wasn't his best.
You can't prove Christianity wrong (just as Most religions cannot be proven wrong, or right for that matter), most Christians will always have a good answer for what they believe. Afterall its been around for 2000 years, many before you have tried to also, and with much better arguments I'd say.
SukaR- Dolly wasn't created, she came from something, she had DNA, creation means you start with NOTHING and get SOMETHING, science hasn't created anything, we've only copied nature and invented technologies.

The only one that could overcome death & the snake (Genesis 3:15) & give us everlasting life will have to be someone who didn't have any sin. Because Jesus is without sin, He raised form the dead a resurrected body. Jesus is the Seed of the Woman (not mans seed) to defeat the serpent. Moses sinned. He was a human born of a woman, conceived of mans seed.
Jesus is born of a virgin (Womans Seed), whole body, soul & spirit. Since he Is without sin in His humanity, death couldn't keep Him in the Grave and He raised from the dead, victorious for us. So we (who are redeemed) too will raise from the dead whole; spirit, soul & body, standing before Christ.

My Pastor says that Jesus was a perfect being. Only the son of God who has lead a sinless life could be worthy of suchb a sacrifice. Moses was a wonderful Prophet and no one could have done it better. However he had a sinful nature and he wasn't perfect. (I love ya Moses!)

Because Moses was not perfect. Moses was a sinner same as you or I. The sacrifice had to be with the perfect blood of the Lamb. God bless you.

Let us know when you can answer questions that no one has ever been privileged enough of God for Him to confide His Divine plan with. Such questions are only meant to cause friction, and are childish at their highest level.

Jesus fulfilled the Bible prophecy. Jesus did exactly what He came to do. Moses was not the perfect sacrifice. Jesus was sinless. : )
