According to this, if you are A and your girlfriend is A, your baby can be A or O.

Your child should have the same blood type as both you and your ex girlfriend. Paternity tests are different though and have nothing to do with blood type. They compare the DNA strands of both you and your ex and see how many and which ones match the child. That is how paternity is established. While there are really no free paternity tests, unless of course you go on Maury, you can have them done thru the courts and the fee is added into your child support payments. Once undeniable paternity is established, visitation can be arranged thru the court. If your ex would fail to comply then, she'd be held in contempt of court. Best of luck to you.

I don't know about paternity test you can do yourself, but I can answer your question about blood type.

If both parents are A+, the child will not necessarily be A+ also. Blood type A is a dominant gene, but one or both parents can have a recessive gene for type O. The same holds true for +Rh vs -Rh factor. So the bottom line is your baby can be any of the following. Keep in mind some of these blood types have a higher likelihood than others.
A+, A-, O+, O-.
If you are certain of both parents blood type, then it is impossible for your baby to be B+, B-, AB+ or AB-.

Hope this helps!

i think an a & a make an A or possibly an O . When you go to court for yur visitation you can recommend wanting a paternity test they might help you get one . Do you feel as if she might have cheated on you ? And the baby isn't yours? if you take that test and the baby isn't yours you might lose all contact with your baby just some things to think about .goodluck

If you are going through the court system I think they should provide you a paternity test....not positive though sorry.

You need to get DNA testing done. Call your local hospital and ask where it can be done. Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere that its free
