No,because He died on the cross for my sins. He did it for me. I love Him because He love me first.

Good point - its easy to say that you will, in the cushy confines of the U.S. Its more difficult when you or your family is being tortured and you've traded in comfort for pain.

Unfortunately, Christians in China, North Korea, Eritrea and throughout the world are facing these circumstances. I have incredible admiration for those who face such things.

For example, there were two (?) women in North Korea who refused to deny Jesus. They had molten metal poured all over because of this.

Christian "persecution" in the U.S. is nothing. I hope that if I ever endure such persecution, I can be true to Christ.

The main reason people over the centuries HAVEN'T denied Jesus is because they were tortured to the point that they couldn't take it anymore.

That's the sad irony of your question.

But if the Christians went back to torturing folks again, I'd say I love Jesus, too. And I'd go home laughing at their gullibility regardless.

I'll deny there's any good in him if he lets this happen just because people won't worship him in just the right particular way.

It's really sad when hell is the moral high ground.

No I would not. Of course I have never been in that position but I know the Lord would grant me STRENGTH through that time and relieve me through His Spirit.....As I prayed to Him and sought His hand on me through that time. I could never deny my Lord and Savior!
I quiver at that thought!

No. I am not saying that would be easy, or that I would not be tempted to...just to easy the pain. But I truly don't think I would. I hope I never have to be tested like that. God bless you.

Oh, I do it all the time. See, jesus is just a rehash of earlier, cooler gods.

Jesus was possibly a guy who died 2000 years ago, he also possibly never existed. Either way all that really matters is what Paul was able to do with all that rubbish.

You're mixing your tenses. It's either "Will you ever deny" or "have you ever denied".

And no Jesus exists to be denied, in the past present or future.

gOds don't exist, and "sons of gOds" certainly don't either.
