I am the bridal coordinator at a salon in Chicago. I'm sure all salons are different, but this is the way we handle it. We prefer the wedding parties to be booked as a group. That way we can get you all done at the same time and in time for the day's festivities. If you leave it up to everyone else, it is almost certain that someone will not be able to get in because they'll wait too long. Also, a lot of salons will offer package deals for parties. When you're looking to book your appointments, it's best to have an idea of when you'd like to start and finish (that helps determine how many stylists will need to be involved)and who's getting what done (type of hairstyle -up or down as well as length and thickness of hair for time purposes and if they need other services - make-up, nails, etc). Hopefully you're leaving around 3-5 months before the wedding to schedule. It can be hard to get large parties scheduled at your time of choice if you're not booking that far in advance. Good luck!!!

Talk to the hair salon and ask for prices. Give the price to your bridesmaids and find out who will commit to the expense. Then call back the salon with your numbers and ask if they can book you all one after the other. Plan to bring at least two cars so you can leave early if needed. Also, ask the salon if they would consider coming to your site. Many will do this for an additional charge but it was so handy for me that it was worth it!

Gee, can your salon handle you all at the same time? Do you like the way the other hairdressers do hair? Maybe you should talk privately with your hairdresser to see what she thinks. There may be someone who's work is horrible. Who would get stuck with that person? I would just let the ladies get their hair done at their own salon. It would be fun to have it all done at the same place at the same time, but like I said, talk to your hairdresser first. Good luck.

I think it depends on if you want everyone's hair done the same way. You could ask them what they prefer and what their budget will allow, but one stylist may not be able to get everyone done within a reasonable amount of time. It may be best to hire a team of 2 girls who can do a similar style on all the girls.

Yes. It's good to get them all done at around the same time - the salon is full of laughter at that time! You need to be there to pay that big bill! Good luck!

When my best friend got married , she had 8 bridesmaids. She found out how expensive it would be and then called all the girls and asked them if they wanted to go there. She then called and made appointments for her self and the girls who said yes. She got them as close together as she could but had seperate cars so that she didn't have to wait on anyone and vice versa.

make all of the appointments so they will be around the same time so everyone can go together and stay on schedule, even if you can't stay. and besides if you don't do it now there's a chance someone may forget and by the time they make the appointment no one will be available to do their hair!

Discuss it with them, but if you are all planning on going to the same salon, yes
