I am an experienced runner and have completed 3 marathons. My first 2 marathons, I used gu as my supplements and I was fine, but during my last one they made me sick. Someone suggested I try honey stingers. Has anyone tried them?

If you were able to run two marathons on Gu, but you got sick on the last one, it is very likely that there was some other factor that contributed to getting sick. You may wish to reflect to see if there was something different between the races, so that you can avoid that in the future. However, after getting sick, I imagine that you will want to try something else so that you're not reminded of your bad experience.

I have tried just about every gel out there, and Honey Stingers are great. I personally like the Gold flavor best, but you may like one of the other four also. Marathon runners have been using honey for decades because it is a natural source of carbs with a low glycemic index (i.e., digests slowly so that you have energy for a long time), and it is very gentle on stomachs. Unfortunately, the only way to know whether the Honey Stingers are good for you is to try them during one of your long runs.

I use cliff blocks for my runs, there are 6 block to a bag and 3 are = to 1 gel. I find that I can space them out better rather then take a hit of sugar all at once.

Also gatoraide makes a sports jelly bean that is quite good, There are also a product called Sharkes which I used before but prefer the Cliff Blocks as they are easier to deal with and melt quicker in your mouth.

There is also cliff shots, similar to Gu personally I don't like them.

Never heard of it but did some research. Looks like just another brand of gels and supplements only made with honey. Try it during training maybe? Let me know how that goes if you do, anything has to be better than the Heed I tried!!!
