As all the "signs" foretell it should happen any moment and the position still seems to be open.

Sorry. A Jew can't be the Antichrist. No offense intended, my friend ...

My goodness, it seems I spend 1/3 of my time here convincing folks the AC *can't* be a Jew -- and now you want to be him? LOL!

Believe me, you don't want the job, anyway. You'd have to constantly argue Daniel 11:37 does *NOT* indicate you're gay. Oh, and then there's that Lake of Fire deal at the end .......

The fact that there is strife within and among the churches MAY be one of the signs of the end times. Some believe that the Church Age ended years ago, so no believer should be attending a church, since the church would be under Satan's power, including the "pastor" of the church.

The folks at Family Radio believe the Church Age has ended and that the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.

The folks at Family Radio believe the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.

For example see the book “Time Has an End” on line at:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html

This group, whose primary teacher is one Harold Camping, also believes the Church Age has ended in 1988 and believers are to come out of the churches as they are now under the control of malevolent forces now that the Tribulation has begun. According to this group, this is why there is so much strife between and within church groups. Mr. Camping’s interpretations of the bible are highly allegorical, so let the reader beware.

See the book Time Has an End, Ch. 10:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_ch10.html

That said, the online audio lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating and worth a listen:
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html

Finally, for the offline version of the Family Radio nightly call in show, where folks ask questions about the bible to Mr. Camping, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/

I am not endorsing Family Radio’s doctrines, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials. Just be careful you don’t swallow everything you hear in this call in show.

Most of what you will read about the end times are pre-millennial views: the view that Christ's return will usher in a future millennium of Messianic rule mentioned in the book of Revelation before the final judgment. The believers of this doctrine also hold to the notion of a Rapture of the righteous beforehand.

Then there are mixtures involving the views of the seven year tribulation and whether it is happening now, occurs later, etc.

1. Amillennialists believe that God's promises regarding the end times are figurative and will not be literally fulfilled, particularly the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth.

2. Pre-millennialists believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth prior to His literal reign on the earth for 1000 years. Three groups of pre-millennialists include the following:

3. Post-tribulationists believe that the rapture will not occur until the end of the seven year tribulation, just prior to the beginning of the millennial kingdom.

4. Mid-tribulationists believe that the rapture will occur three and one half years into the tribulation, at beginning of the three and one half year great tribulation.

5. Pre-tribulationists believe that the rapture will occur prior to the seven year tribulation, but not necessarily immediately before the tribulation.

These doctrines all fall under the general heading known as the study of end times, or eschatology.

For explanations of the various eschatological beliefs see: http://www.religioustolerance.org/millenni.htm

In Ezekiel 33, God instructs the watchman to signal the approach of the enemy against His people, warning that the watchman who fails to blow the trumpet of alarm shall be guilty of the blood of the people.

I am a Amillennialist of the Reformed tradition. I believe we are currently living in the Millennium and in the Tribulation period. Events described in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 and in most of the book of Revelation have already happened.

To the amillennialist the Antichrist is figurative and not a real person. I believe that the Kingdom of God is today present in the world through the presence of the heavenly reign of Christ, the Bible, the Holy Spirit and Christianity. Both good and evil continues in the world until the current Church Age ends suddenly when Christ returns to the sky above the earth. Then the Rapture immediately occurs. The Redeemed are transported to heaven where they will adopt spiritual bodies. The rest of humanity will be condemned at this time to eternal punishment. The world will be abandoned. History is no more.

The antichrist:
1Jn 2:22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

Thus, the antichrist is a belief that Christ is not the second person of the Triune God. Anyone holding such a belief is already holding the position of the antichrist.

Do you believe in God?
Do you accept the bible as God's complete and inerrant word?
Can you look at a scripture that says 'thou shalt not kill' and another that says 'bring the unbeliever before me and slaughter them' and say that they perfectly coexist with no contradiction?
Do you believe that 1+1+1= 1?

If you answered NO to any or all of these questions, congratulations, you are officially an Antichrist! For it is written:

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22

You have passed all of the prerequisites and can officially enjoy the multiple benefits of being an Antichrist, including, but not limited to: reading and learning science/literature/history and other subjects from non-christian sources! Being able to watch the big game EVERY Sunday! And my personal favorite, mocking christians!

Once again, congratulations, and welcome to the team!

What if it's symbolic? In that case:
3 symbolizes God (trinity)
6 symbolizes man (body soul and spirit indwelt by the trinity)
666 is man making himself out to be God

The mark on the hand symbolizes your works (by deeds you show that you think you are your own authority)

The mark on the forehead symbolizes your thoughts (you think you are your own authority)

Under this scenario, there are MANY antichrists, and you already wear the mark.

You have fallen for the "pre-trib" interpretation of prophecy; but that is not your fault, but the fault of those who taught you. The "pre-trib" interpretation is unscriptural and can be easily disproven.
The antichrist has already been around for almost 2000 years. It is the Vatican and the Office of the Pope. I could give you a long list of scriptural reasons why this is true, but I don't have my resources with me at the moment. So, you would not be able to apply for the position of antichrist. It's already been filled.

Your best bet is to try to bypass HR and go right to the person that makes the hiring decisions.

Make sure you have lots of questions to ask for your interview.
