You get a beautiful card and write exactly what you wrote above. I'm sure she would treasure it. You are lucky to have such a great MIL.

You are so lucky! I think that what you have said here is a great start. You could right a poem/ letter telling her how you feel and have it framed. Its things like that the someone will always treasure. Things from the heart are the best gifts to give when you are truly thankful.

What you have said is in your question I'm sure will bring a tear to her eye. Tell it from the heart and don't feel silly

You have been blessed to have this woman as your mother in law.

Good luck, I hope that this helped

I love to give personalized gifts to the most important people in my life ....for example get portraits done of your son and even your family...and get a picture frame engraved saying, worlds greatest maw maw or something cute like that.... but anything from the heart will do just always show your appreciation for her....good luck!

You know her better than any of us! Just choose something that you know she would cherish. Does she collect anything? Or what books does she like to read? Does she like jewelry? Or a nice sweater or blouse? Or bubble bath or some great perfume? You have to match what you give her to her personality and preferences. I would choose from her needs or wants. Grant her some wish she'd never get for herself, like a day at the spa or a Swedish massage! Just pick whatever you think she's into! If she's a gardener, get her something great to plant in her garden! Or give her a cleaning lady for a day to give her a break from all her chores! Just anything you can think of, that would bowl her over! Tickets to a movie! A dinner out! Good luck!

Who's heart do you want to give it from? Yours or one of the thousands of answerers on yahoo? If she's so much like a mother to you then think what you would give your own mother. I'm sure she'll love whatever you give her. You are very blessed to have a good mother in law.

I think it's wonderful that you want to give your MIL a gift from the heart, but I am confused.

How can ideas you get from people on YA possibly be considered a gift from YOUR heart?

You can ONLY find those gifts by looking for them in YOUR heart.

i would get her somthing really simple and a card and in the card write extactly how you feel. or make the card and put in it extactly how you feel. once she reads it and looks at you she will completly understand. i would also take her out to a breakfast or brunch on mothers day (if there are no previous plans) and give her the card and gift then.

Have Dad watch the baby and take yourself and your MIL out for a fancy brunch. Bring her a corsage to wear, or a pink rose, to make it extra special.
