it can range anywhere from FREE to $100, best thing to do is call your local shelter and ask about low cost spay/neuter clinics in your area. Also depends on the weight of your pup. I have a 3 lb chihuahua and it cost me $45 at my vet...beware, some vets will quote a price but that may not include extras like pain medicine, vaccinations, anesthesia, etc...make sure to ask what the TOTAL bill will run....and now is the time to get him neutered before he starts marking territory and becoming more aggressive as the testosterone starts kicking in!

Depends on if you get it done by the vet or humane society and the weight of the dog. If he's under 50lbs, the vet will probably charge about $150. A humane society will probably charge $55-65 if he's under 50lbs. The only problem is for the humane society, it might be a few months before you get your appointment whereas the vet can normally schedule it in within the week of calling. Call the vets and shelters to see actual prices.

It depends on where you are. I got 2 of my labs neutered for under $80 and my little girl lab spayed for about the same. Just call around and find the best price. I would also check around with friends that have animals and see who they used. You don't want to go to some dog butcher or anything

Cheap. Find a low cost spay and neuter clinic in your area. The sooner the better. Older dogs don't recover nearly so quickly.
