About two days ago I noticed one of my eyes was a fair bit blurrier than usual, although I can see ok with both eyes. There's nothing in my eye and it looks clear. I can't get an appointment to get it seen for a fair few days, and I'm worried! Thanks for looking :)

No, I haven't had an impact to the head, there's no pain and there's visually nothing wrong with it, I really can't think what it could be! :( Though, I am quite stressed lately and not sleeping too well, if maybe that has something to do with it? Thanks for all your help! :)

There is a gamut of disease conditions ranging from the simplest error of refraction (astigmatism, myopia, hyperopia), or dryness to the fairly extreme optic neuritis, multiple sclerosis, which can cause unilateral blurring of vision.
Symptoms that are worrisome would be accompanying body complaints such as weakness, headache, dizziness, light headedness. Worrisome vision related symptoms would be doubling of vision, loss of color perception and pain on eye movement.
Another less scary explanation would that the blurred vision had always been there to begin with, but you only noticed it recently. When both eyes are uncovered, it is possible that you are using vision from the better eye only and the blurred vision from the worse eye is being partially ignored by your visual cortex, thus you see fine with both eyes open. But when the better eye is covered, you're brain is forced to notice the vision from your worse eye and THEN you notice the blurred vision.
The best thing you can do is to consult with an Ophthalmologist right away and get a proper and complete ophthalmic evaluation.

I suffer from blurred vision and found out I am a migraine sufferer, I don't know if you get headaches before or after your blurred vision . As well stress plays a hug factor on how our body works. If you are not getting any headaches go to a eye specialist to rule out any concerns, Good luck hope everything is alright.

I get blurred vision in one eye sometimes because its a bit dry, try some soothing eye drops until you go for your appointment.

You might have developed an astigmatism in that eye. I have one (but in both eyes) and my eyes tend to blur for a minute before they can properly focus on an object. You might want to get it checked out - it can make driving at night tough with oncoming headlights coming around a corner.
Good luck!

Education is a wonderful thing, but the downside of filling your head with "knowledge" is that it makes less room for being open to alternatives.
Mostly every eye doctor and optometrist truly believe that THEY KNOW BEST... and quite frankly, they have to... The grim alternative is to face a life crises (like I did), and the complete breakdown of their current life and practice.
The optometry industry is one thing... but it's no use blaming your doctor or optometrist for being ignorant. Rather be happy you've been lucky enough to stumble upon this quick and reliable way to regain your natural vision abilities.
