Do you just hold it still and move it from tooth to tooth, or do you use it like a regular toothbrush?

BARB:

SINCE THE ACTION OF THE BRISTLES IN MOTION ACTUALLY DOES THE BRUSHING FOR YOU, WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS GLIDE THE BRUSH HEAD ALONG THE GUM-LINE WITH LITTLE PRESSURE. IT'S NOT QUITE LIKE LIKE A MANUAL BRUSH, BUT VERY SIMILAR.
SINCE THE BRISTLES OSCILLATES VERY QUICKLY YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE BRUSH IN YOUR MOUTH WITH YOUR LIPS GENTLY CLOSED.OTHERWISE, YOU WILL HAVE TOOTHPASTE SPATTER ALL OVER THE PLACE. GOOD LUCK.

I use the sonicare also. Be careful how you brush. I was brushing like a regular toothbrush and it caused my gums to receed. Finally, I had to ask my doctor to showed me how. Never scrub. Scrubbing damages your teeth. Even if ur not touching ur gums, the vibrations can hurt them when u scrub. Also go slow and let the brush do the work. The thing is to tickle ur gums. . U don't need to apply much pressure. If u have trouble, use only 3 fingers to hold it. Glide it gently over ur teeth in small semi circles. Like gently in a M shape along the gum...very gently then glide on the teeth. Spend like 3 secs on each tooth them move on. Just remember, no scrubbing! lol.

When brushing with an electric brush, never srcub. Hold the brust at the back of the tooth and roll it like a rocking chair across the tooth. Do this for each tooth. Scrub can damage the tooth, cause gum recession, and won't effectively remove plaque bacteria.

Hope that helps!

1) Costco is a great place to buy them cheap! That's where I got mine with a bunch of replacement heads also. 2) Whatever model they have, because it is likely the new and improved Sonicare toothbrush. 3) I think I paid $80. I'm sure the prices have gone down, seeing how it's getting to be older technology. 4) Don't forget to floss! :)
