except that they are aware of the void within themselves and in anger and self loathing attempt to spurn those that are complete? As if anything stated by an atheist would be taken to be anything other than ignorance?

Atheists have no foundation to deny anything but appear to be angry that there are those that know more than they.

All atheist questions are simplistic redundancies, but why be drawn to that which you deny, except that deep down you know the Creator?

Why would an atheist think anyone that is complete would care about what the chaff has to say?

Wow. The number of false assumptions in this "question" is staggering.

1: We are not aware of any "void" within ourselves. We are not susceptible to superstition.
2: We do not regard ourselves with self-loathing or anger.
3: I would dispute with you the notion that you are somehow "complete" by believing in an imaginary sky-fairy.
4:Atheists do have foundations. They just tend to vary from one athist to another.
5: I dispute the notion that you know more than the average atheist. Most atheists are the way they are because of extensive study of the real world, as opposed to the hallucinations of your book.
6: All atheist questions are not simplistic redundancies.
7: We do not "deep down know" any creator.
8: Your last sentence is exactly the sort of thing that makes us call "loving" Christians like you hypocrites.

In short: Someone has to stand up for scientific fact, rationality, and logic in the face of superstitious dogma, idealized ignorance, and lying con men.

Do you wish you were an atheist? Is that why you're so obsessed with us?

"Atheists have no foundation to deny anything but appear to be angry that there are those that know more than they.

All atheist questions are simplistic redundancies, but why be drawn to that which you deny, except that deep down you know the Creator?"

If this is true then why can't you answer any of our questions with any real proof other then bible quotes?

Atheism is also a belief, even though each individual atheist
might not share the same set of values and beliefs of other
atheists; thus, atheists have the right to be discussing their
point of view on this section of YahooAnswers with the rest
of us.

Often one blames the atheists to be rude to the theists, but
one must also not forget the reverse is also quite true. If shall
one desires to be respected by the atheists, I suggest the
following:

- Do Not take a "Holier-than-Thou" Stance
- Respect their Views just as Valid as your own
- Discuss the beliefs and theories, but Do Not Preach
- Use "heal thine self first, doctor!" as the verse of examing
the self constantly.

Peace and God Bless.

Why are most THEISTS so angry??? And they do a LOT more trolling than any atheist! Maybe atheists are TIRED of being trashed for their beliefs, discriminated against and bullied, and are getting some well-deserved licks in. It's about time. Xtians, especially, have run the country and the Western world (into the ground) for FAR too long!

OOOhhh daksha, I wouldn't say believers are complete. I wouldn't say most are complete. I'd say very few are complete. I get upset with some of the nastiness and arrogance of alot of non believers. I also get upset with the same from alot of believers.
The world sucks, most people suck. One day I hope everyone will be complete and joyful. The joy will be so great, that the non believers won't even feel bad about the things they said. No one will feel bad about the things they have done or said. No one will have ill feelings towards anybody. It will be pure love. That is when everything is complete.

Because we recognize the usefulness of intelligent thought, and wish to encourage others to try it. The only completeness that a theist has is an inability to apply logic to evidence. Which is pitiful, since that ability is the only thing that makes you better than the family cat.

As an Atheist I believe that religions exist and I believe I have a spiritual side. I also believe that christianity is nonsense and is causing a great many problems in my country and the world.

Perhaps you have mistaken Yahoo Answers for the christian forum site which claims to be a friendly christians only community. Feel free to relocate.

Yes, Hello
I would like to say that I am here only for the humorous email that I get from hard core christians, I need their input for my blogs, so that way I can have a good laugh at them, and for my friends at "myspace" to have a good laugh at them too.
Please, do, by all means, carry on!

You are on the wrong track I think, it's a free world so what does it matter if athiests are here? Athiests do know a lot

If you are that complete then why do you refer to people as 'chaff' and feel the need to write such a scathing thread?
