i'm 35 and never had a problem with holding belly fat until I gave birth to my daughter. I've been working out but not really wathching my diet. I do drink beer and am going to quit that because it has a lot of carbs.

Yes, you can lose weight and not eat right. I see it all the time. Of course, this is not optimal. Eating right has many benefits. You are giving the body the nutrients it needs via healthy food sources, you are giving it water, and you are giving it the proper amount of calories. If the goal is body fat reduction, exercise alone will only take you so far. This health thing is all about discipline and consistency.

exercise and walking will help with the baby fat, I am fifty years old and have had three kids. I am toned and healthy.
I work out regular and have for years. you are smart to deal with this now. I have a nice stomach. I work my stomach hard three days a week,Pilate's done wonders for my stomach. I eat healthy, drink plenty of water. The stomach is hard to tome but it is possible. Swimming daily and the treadmill seems to help me a lot. I go to weight watchers and I am a life time member. I eat very good and never go hungry,
If i liked beer i would have one occasionally. It is a lot of empty calories.

Potentially you could if you burned more calories than consumed. But that's a LOT of exercissing to make up for all those calories. Plus, a healthy diet is important for more than weight loss. That's how you get all your nutrients and vitamins and stay healthy and active. Exercise and diet go hand in hand.
