Find a new friend that can support you. If your friend is looking out for her best interest and neglecting your needs and safety, then do you really want her as a friend?

Drinking and smoking isn't a healthy lifestyle, and you should try to limit it.

However you can't expect people to change because you want to change things in your life, so if she can't be supportive you need to get another friend.

Have you tried talking to her? Tell her what your feeling, and that you don't think you can hang out as much if she can't support you.

Associate with the people that are living in the way that you want to be. That's not always easy, I know. Also, have you told your friend how you are trying to change? Offer alternatives ideas to a night of drinking.. like movies, bowling, taking a dance class.. etc.

Good Luck

Why don't you talk to a family who's family member was killed by a drunk driver. Or a family who lost someone to lung cancer. Sound drastic? Sure, but if you can't control your own urges, maybe you need a dose of reality.

What you should do, and you asked, is go back to school and learn proper grammar. I swear this will make you a more educated woman and soon you'll have more important things in your life. You asked, I answered.
