I guess that the DIscovery channel has every right to run another point of view...but I never thought of them as running a show of little intelligence.. I must say that I am disappointed in the channel and I will be emailing them and telling them that.

Probably it was a sop to the people who got all offended at the "Jesus and his family's bones" documentary. I think they can show all kinds of things, and you can believe or not believe. Animal Planet, which is a Discovery channel, is regularly pro-evolution--it just assumes that everyone believes it, which is fine with me. Shark Week shows will probably do the same.

When man is stumped trying to figure what created the universe God becomes the default. We just don't know people. What I do know if there was a God this entity has nothing to do with creating the limiting bibles the religious say is God's word. Man is left to his own devices to figure out how to live peacefully on this planet. As long as we argue over a God, that doesn't have a voice of his own, this takes away energies that can be used to solve real issues on this planet.

Well, it's a bit creepy, yeah. The thing I always keep in mind when I watch that show (I do find it interesting, if not exactly enjoyable) is that these people obviously lived to tell the tale, so really they had a bad scare, and maybe some bumps and bruises or whatever. Makes it less scary.

that wasn't from the Discovery Channel. And even if it was Discovery shows just as many documentaries on religious beliefs and issues as they do about science.

The Discovery channel doesn't support anyone theory. Witch is why I like it they will put on anything that has to do with the planet, humans, and animals.

I did not see this program.
Discovery channel is well known for their "not very well documented" documentaries. They have the money and the sponsors lined up to promote their agenda.

To show the audience how dumb ID is, to inform them, so that when ID tries to get into the school system again (in one form or another), the audience would be educated about what ID really is; Garbage and hopfully to stop it in it's tracks again.

Have you checked out the History channel lately? All these 'educational' channels appear to have been bought by someone who has an agenda...
