No, it is a historical narrative. Three writers-Matthew, Mark, and John were eye witnesses to most of Jesus' ministry. Luke documents his gospel from interviews.

No. All the other prophesies about Him were fulfilled literally, so why should we conclude the Gospels are not also literal, instead of allegorical?
