Did you look why they confused their language- they wanted to reach God on their own terms by building the tower. They did not want to find God on His terms. God loves people of every nation- we can still be united in Christ- no matter the language. However we cannot come to Him except as humble children realizing Christ died to bring us back to Him. God desires all to come to Him- but not in pride, as these "builders" were.

He confused their language so they would not come together again to rebel against him. They still had their knowledge of him and his law,s. And he did not abandon them but spread them across the earth. Or so go the bible story,s.
