that has, is, and continues, to steal and plagiarize Religious Creation accounts of the Universe, like Hinduism for instance?

Is not science then a rip off of religion in as much as concerns Creation of the Universe? Over 1,000 years ago Hinduism gives account of the Creation of the Universe and reveals preiterate knowledge that it is a closed system, and now science steals that knowledge to purport it as it's own idea? Wow!

Seems religion is spoon feeding science that in turn spoon feeds atheists. The circle is complete.

How be it that an Atheist would demand proof from man of the existence of God being an Entity beyond comprehension? In fact if God could be comprehended in the way an atheist would have it then God would not be a God if an ape could match intellect with the All Knowing God?

Pure ignorance, thinking mankind possesses knowledge on par with the Creator, what nonsense.

Look how the atheist posters evade the fact that Religion exceeds science in Creation of the Universe, this is rich!

Can't deal with the facts, YOUR SCIENCE has ripped off Religious accountation of the Universe, and since the ancients were backwards according to you, how did they know, unless it be preiterate knowledge given to man.

Just evade the Truth, typical.

God (the creator) is the mother of all guesswork. The ancients were ignorant of physics and the way the world worked so they GUESSED that someone more powerful than they made all this crap happen. Notice I say guessed because they could not PROVE the existance of a supreme being, and, neither can you.

So, it would seem that science is spoon feeding religion.

Such arrogance from Theist. Until your God himself is willing to share with man the secrets of the universe then I suggest bible thumpers keep their mouths shut and stop trying to think for God or getting upset because there are people willing to figure things out from themselves.

What a Theist fail to realize man's knowledge will continue to grow and understand the secrets of the universe. What makes a Theist think this is not the way of things? There is only creation in this universe that goes far beyond that of just your God that you think is the only creator.

Man is no different from God that is also subject to the laws of the universe. If the religious grow out of acting like children, my daddy is smarter than your daddy, they could become part of the solutions on this planet and not one of the biggest problems.

You don't really read up on history that much do you? Back when you speak 1000 years ago they didn't have science and religion it was together as one. There for everything back then was said is not really from religion it was from the elders who did religion science philosophy. The only reason why gods were invented was because people were uneducated and just made them up. The only reason why they stuck is because then rulers used them as scare tactics. Also you say that I demand proof I don't want proof of your god he is an *** hole. So you go believe in your talking burning bush's all the animals on one boat and what ever else is in that book. I will believe in what ever goes up must come down.

A Hindu Creation Story
Hindus believe that there is One Supreme Spirit of the universe. This Spirit is God.

Hindus also believe that God can be seen in many different ways, so for Hindus God can take on the shape of different gods and goddesses.

There are several creation stories in Hinduism. Here is one of the creation stories from Hindu mythology.

Before this time began, there was no heaven, no earth and no space between. A vast dark ocean washed upon the shores of nothingness and licked the edges of the night.A giant cobra floated on the waters. Asleep within its endless coils lay the Lord Vishnu. He was watched over by the mighty serpent.

Everything was so peaceful and silent that Vishnu slept undisturbed by dreams or motion. From the depths a humming sound began to tremble, Aum. It grew and spread, filling the emptiness and throbbing with energy.

Aum, or Om

The night had ended, Vishnu awoke. As the dawn began to break, from Vishnu’s navel grew a magnificent lotus flower. In the middle of the blossom sat Vishnu’s servant, Brahma. He awaited the Lord’s command. Vishnu spoke to his servant: ‘It is time to begin.’ Brahma bowed. Vishnu commanded: ‘Create the World.’ A wind swept up the waters. Vishnu and the serpent vanished.

Brahma remained in the lotus flower, floating and tossing on the sea. He lifted up his arms and calmed the wind and the ocean. Then Brahma split the lotus flower into three. He stretched one part into the heavens. He made another part into the earth. With the third part of the flower he created the skies.

The earth was bare. Brahma set to work. He created grass, flowers, trees and plants of all kinds. To these he gave feeling. Next he created the animals and the insects to live on the land. He made birds to fly in the air and many fish to swim in the sea. To all these creatures, he gave the senses of touch and smell. He gave them power to see, hear and move.

The world was soon bristling with life and the air was filled with the sounds of Brahma’s creation.

yep, that's the science the hindus gave us. Who are we to question that?

I totally agree with you man. Everything is created by God. And with no doubt, I knew that atheists would certainly question God's existence because it takes more than BRAIN and SCIENCE to understand God. I takes spirituality, devotion and love to understand Him. Atheists think of God as like all of others. Races, species, etc, something/someone that could be explainable. They think that if everything that they see around them is explainable then why not God? Well its because God is more than explainable and unexplainable. God is the creator of everything that is explainable and unexplainable. He's more than what we consider to be reality Only way possible for us humans to see God is through devotion, and spirituality. Truth is that God is everywhere and yet not. He's everywhere and by means of yet not is that He's invisible. But I don't need to say further because without doubt, what I have tried to say over here won't affect atheists even a tiny bit. But the people who will understand what I tried saying are the ones who know God.

Read about the scientific method -- observe, theorise, observe, improve the theory, observe .....

Science gives you a better method of finding the truth of things than the legends of an ancient tribe. The probability of this is greater with science than with religion.

Learn to live with uncertainty -- the scientist does.

"pure ignorance" and "what nonsense" are not very nice things to say, regardless of what other people believe or demand for beliefs.

attack the argument, not the person.

i'm not an atheist, i'm a Catholic. and it's because of tones like this that so many people hate us Christians in this forum.

You DO realize that you're begging your own question, right? You're assuming that your god exists, and then telling us that we are wrong to demand proof of an entity that is far beyond man's comprehension.

If he's far beyond the comprehension of those who seek proof of his existence, then he's far beyond the comprehension of those who believe in him... and that puts you on par with us, spanky.

So this whole question is nothing more than a pedantic, error-laden, question-begging tirade that is nothing more than a cop-out and attack against those who demand proof of a god.
