I'm getting a Chihuahua this summer, are there any special needs they have?

I'm 12 so I don't have that much time to resch on this kind of stuff with school and stuff.I just want to make sure that 'Oggy' get's the best live that he can get.I already have one dog and well I want oggy to be safe helthy and most inportintly happy! and are there any helth problems i should worry about and if you live in bc and are a chihuahua breeder i would love to have some frist hand info on getting a happy heathly pup and to make sure i'm not getting scamed

Chihuahuas get very cold in the winter so they need a sweater for the whole winter. Their possible heath problems are Eye problems, collapsing trachea and dislocating kneecaps. I have a Chihuahua mix and she has dislocating kneecaps. They are good watch dogs and they're great for apartments. Best of luck!

okay first off I would not reccomend getting a chihuahua as first dog . I would reccomend a golden retriver as a first dog . Some chis are very hard to house break and where would this dog be when you are at school ? in a crate all day not a good sittuation for a chihuahua at all they get bored easily. do you have another dog that maybe would play and be company for the chi? if not then I would say a golden retriver is better dog for you . good luck and I hope I helped.

I also know that they get cold very easley. So make sure to get a coat for it.
