He is God.....He has no beginning & no end

The answer is that no one. It is one of those impossible to explain answers and I for one cannot totally understand it. However, what is the alternative? That the whole wide world did not have a creator? That the first hydrogen atoms came from nothing? That energy was present at the beginning from nothing? That all the energy in the world was compressed into a size smaller than a pin-head? And that the energy somehow became unstable and it became hydrogen and from hydrogen all the other atoms and molecules that we have now. All the rocks came from hydrogen gas? Where did energy come from at the beginning?

You see, if you don't believe in God, you have a bigger problem. You cannot explain where the energy came from too. Who created that energy? And much as you may want to think there is no intelligent design, I am sure you feel unnatural about it. Our natural instincts tell us that there is intelligence in the designs.

If I were to put a statue of President Bush in front of you, you would definitely not come to the conclusion that the winds and the rain made it. You will automatically think that someone with intelligence carved it.

How much more, a living, breathing, seeing, hearing, moving human being...

A valid and appropriate question. Is it intellectually honest to fiat that God exists outside of time and space and has always existed? No. One leaves no room for growth and knowledge in such a way. Saying He just is, was, and always will be is just silly. If I were to believe the existence of God, he/she would be the result of eons of refinement, the logical end of evolution, not the beginning. Nothing just suddenly pops into being. Further, this deity would have an origin from which to develop, maybe even parents (for those who feel the need for anthropomorphizing Him). Could beings such as ourselves evolve for eons into beings indistinguishable from Gods? Anything is possible. Could an omnipotent being just randomly pop into existence? No.

We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. To do so, we must use human concepts to speak of God: "without beginning or end"; "eternal"; "infinite", etc. The Bible says that He has always existed: " . . . even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalm 90:2). And, "Your throne is established from of old; Thou art from everlasting" (Psalm 93:2). Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.
To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next, one minute is after another. We get older, not younger and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts: early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart." He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been.
Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. Before that, God was simply existing and time had no meaning (except conceptually), no relation to Him. Therefore, to ask where God came from is to ask a question that cannot really be applied to God in the first place. Because time has no meaning with God in relation to who He is, eternity is also not something that can be absolutely related to God. God is even beyond eternity.
Eternity is a term that we finite creatures use to express the concept of something that has no end -- and/or no beginning. Since God has no beginning or end, He has no beginning. This is because He is outside of time.

I have found from experience that the popular atheist's question, "Who made God?" doesn't deserve to have a question mark. It is usually presented as a statement. The questioner is persuaded that such a question cannot be answered. A twinkle is usually seen in his eye as he tosses what he thinks is his trump card onto the table. He gambles his very soul on the belief that there is no higher card--that it cannot be answered.

Actually, the explanation is very simple. Does space have an end? If it does--if there is a brick wall at the end of space that reads "The End," I want to know what's behind the brick wall. By faith you and I are forced to believe that no matter in which direction we set off, space will never end. It just goes on and on and on--forever. It has no beginning or end. It hurts the brain to think about such a state, but we have no choice but to accept that fact by faith.

God also has no beginning and no end. But with God, we have a little more information than we have with space. Time is a dimension that God has created and it is to this dimension that mankind is subjected. We have to wait for time to pass. We can't jump ahead even one second in time. We are enslaved in its power. It is because we are in time that reason demands a beginning and an end. It hurts the brain to think of any other dimension.

God is not subject to the dimension of time. He dwells in eternity. The Bible tells us that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us (see Psalm 90:4 & 2 Peter 3:8). God can flick through time as you and I flick through the pages of a history book. If you find this hard to believe, even when confronted with the evidence of biblical prophecies, you will find it to be true one day. The Scriptures tell us that God will eventually withdraw time, and we will then dwell in eternity.

The Christian is told that he understands "by faith." This happens if I have major surgery. I trust a surgeon, even though I have no real understanding of how he is going to operate. I have to trust him or there will be no operation. I understand that he has the ability to make me well, so I have faith in him.

In the same manner, I trust God. Many have died at the hands of surgeons, but no one perishes in the hands of God. God's ability is boundless and His promises are "both sure and steadfast, an anchor of the soul" (Hebrews 6:19). Doctors and pilots will fail you, friends you trust will disappoint you, elevators will let you down, but the promises of Almighty God are utterly trustworthy. This may be hard for you to appreciate at this time, but I want to encourage you to have an open mind.

Aliens made God.

One day they will make his face appear in the sky, then they will suck up all the believers and eat them for dinner.

Maybe we are just a big farm full of meat for some alien race.

think about it.......its just as logical as Christianity

If you are able to believe in the concept of God, than you should be able to believe in the concept of there being no beginning or end when it comes to God. God and eternity go hand in hand. Oh and what was there before the Big Bang and before that and then before that and then before that...........?

It's funny because God is eternal (which is devoid of restraints of time). In the Bible, this is paraphrased in the term "the First and the Last".

"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.'" - Isaiah 57:15

Which God?

Saying that God is timeless, eternal, or outside of time has many implications that make him impossible.
