Many good answers, and no I'm not so sheltered that I think all religions have heaven/hell concepts.

I do think many people seem more concerned with the rewards/fear than looking to God for goodness of being.

There is no hell in Judaism and no outright promise of anything beyond this world. There are beliefs of an afterlife but generally Judaism does not concern itself with such an unknown. We are more concerned with are lives in the here and now.

God has answered so many of my prayers so YES I would but I'm not even gonna think about that, coz in my religion God does promise Heaven or Hell.

the promise is always a false one...

and the believers in religion would believe in someone or something for that false promise, because they are brain-washed / brain-dead, that's just the way the believers are programmed.

It seems like the believers are unable to embrace the Truth;

Here's the Solution, even for the brain-washed / brain-dead believers and religion and allow Yourself to embrace the Truth:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions.

Just in case you missed what Quantrill had to say, here it is again: "There are beliefs of an afterlife but generally Judaism does not concern itself with such an unknown. We are more concerned with are lives in the here and now."

The Christian concept of heaven/hell comes from Zoroastrianism and Mitras.

There is no promise of Heaven or hell in my "religion" as we do not believe in such. We believe that when we pass we go to the land of spirits to guide those still living. Therefore yes.

No most religious people think the only reason to be good/kind/decent is because theres a punishment/reward system. They are basically little children that need fear as motivation.

Actually the idea of nothing is strangely comforting to me. But maybe that explains a lot about my general lack of embracing religion right now.

Well I don't believe in the common conception of heaven and I don't believe in hell at all and I am pretty happy in my faith, happier then I have ever been in any other, so my answer is yes. :)
