Given that nearly 80% of the United States is Christian who is actually persecuting them? I hear how they constantly feel persecuted, is this a form a self abuse?

Grim, 80% claim to be Christian. That doesn't mean they are. When you start asking them specific questions about Christ, heaven, the devil, etc., the percentages go down quite a bit. Look at the termperature of the nation right now. If you say you are seeking God, people think that's pretty cool. If you say you've found Him, watch out! However, Jesus said that we would be persecuted. If he wasn't exept from it, we won't be, either. That's why I'm not a huge advocate of all teh whining that's going on about it. We can fight back with knowledge, but we definitely need to stop mumbling and complaining about how ill-treated we are.

Our rights have been killed. We can't pray in schools, we can't display our holiday ornaments without someone yelling about it. And our churches are targeted by arsonists. There is so much more as well. In school I was made fun of everyday for believing in the Lord. That's called persecution my dear. Our children are singled out and tortured if they say they believe in God and follow it. 80 percent of Americans claim to be Christian but about half of that number do not practice it. They may say they believe but they don't live it.

I always wondered that. I think some of them persecute themselves like bashing the Catholics or Baptisit, ect. But as far as outsiders, there aren't just a lot of Christian basher. I know they feel like it sometimes but they FAR outnumber us. And damn those democrats for protecting personal liberty! Man you would think this is America or something!

The Supreme Court, lower courts, and some of our politicians. At the same time, mainstream media regularly lampoons Christians and ridicules religion.

I can't believe that I have to point this out to you. What planet are you from?

other christians...
just like in the crusades !

atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions...

Here's the Solution for christianity and religion:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

Democrats.....

Just look at the laws that the new house & senate are trying to push through

Grass-roots lobbying reform....
Freedom of choice (immediately after partial birth abortion was deemed illegal)
Hate crimes (basically......aimed at pastors)

Liberals will never get along with us as long as we (christians) hold the truth

The Bill of Rights.
By endowing the minority with rights, you are oppressing the ability to oppress.

Christians find this oppressive.
