Change the camera settings, try reading the manual and setup your own custom settings depending on the pics you are taking, maybe something is wrong with the camera

I was talking about that with a friend the other day and that's what I told him, too. Sony cameras are the greatest cause the settings all go to eleven.
Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
him: Oh, I see. And most cameras go up to ten?
me: Exactly.
him: Does that mean it's better? Are the pictures any better?
me: Well, they're one better, aren't they? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be shooting at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your camera. Where can you go from there? Where?
him: I don't know.
me: Nowhere. Exactly. What I do is, if I need that extra push over the cliff, you know what I do?
him: Put it up to eleven.
me: Eleven. Exactly. One better.
him: Why don't you just make ten better and make ten be the top number and make that a little better?
me: [pause] This goes to eleven.

We'd love to help, but we could use some more information... Perhaps you've been messing with the settings; perhaps we can make an educated guess if you post a link to an example... or simply describe the problem in more detail. Give us a bit more to work with.

Sam, I'll have to look into that. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that could possibly make a Sony better is more cowbell.

1 the settings on the camera could be set wrong .
2 there is a problem with the camera itselft..

Turn on the camera, and set it to AUTO check that the macro is not turn on.. [ the little flower] but, if the macro isn't turned on.. then its the camera.. cause the blurr can be caused by not focusing right... but the cutting of the pictures could be caused by a camera problem.... so if the camera is under a 1 year warranty you can take it back to the store and let them check it out.. or call sony..(In English: 1-800-222-7669
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00AM-10:00PM / Sat-Sun 10:30AM-7:15PM EST )
If the camera is not under a warranty of any kind by the store nor sony.. I think it will be better to start searching for a new camera.. At the end sending a camera to be fixed by sony or any other company, it will be really expensive.. better to buy a new camera...
If you want to keep using a sony. try the sony w100 at 220.00 or the new sony w55 it comes like at 199.00 !!!

so contact sony, explain the problem to them.. they will tell you that youll have to send it in for an ispection... if you send it in and after they tell you the fixing qoute and you decide not to let them fix it they will charge you like 30.00 .. so if there is a problem with the camera.... just sell it on ebay for parts you can get like 20 - 30 dollars depending on the model.... and then you can buy a new camera !!!!
