Since the time of Moses divorce was allowed but the true reason it was allowed was as Mark 10:5 states, "For the hardness of your heart...". Mmm

There is only one God and he has sent different Messengers over time. Also, the principle in every religion is the same - God does not like divorce. However, the application of this principle changes over time based on the maturity of humanity when a Messenger of God comes with a new message.

One example of this is what happened with our son in terms of fire. When talking with our son we have always told him the same thing - fire is very dangerous and you should not play with it. When he was very young the application of that principle was that he should not touch fire at anytime. Now that he is older the principle remains that same but he can use fire when we are present. And, of course, there will be a time when he is mature enough to use fire when we are not there at all.

In sum, the principle is always the same (God hates divorce) but as humanity matures God decides that we should express that principle in different ways.

That's the problem. God is not the same in all religion. Divorce is not ok, only under the terms Jesus outlined.

In the beginning God did not make provision for divorce....later he allowed it due to the hardheartedness of some men. But he still gave strict instructions as to who may get a divorce. If your spouse committed adultery, if they tried to kill you, if they would not support you then you could get a divorce. And God would judge them.
Divorce is only admissible under those conditions. If you just get one because of irreconcilable differences God is against it.

God's word is the same for all of us. We are under the new covenant. We cannot make it by law. We are saved only by grace and mercy of God.

Divorce is something what God does not want us to go through, be He also hates it when we are in a bad relationship.

I don't believe that God is the same in all religions, so I can't answer the second part of your question.

In my opinion, concept that divorce is wrong is men invention, not God invention. God doesn't approve or disapprove of this. Men try to think that God does.
