religious beliefs
Blind faith DOES NOT prove anything - and that's what believers of religion have.
Please extend pity to the blind faith believers...
they go through life blind, stupid, ignorant and unable to understand and believe in the Truth, not being able to Create Their own Relationship with Our Creator...
Pity, Pity, Pity, Please Pity all the people in religion... and the stupid atheists too !

remember:

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions

There is enough proof to believe in God. Take for instance the Ebla tablets,.

Archaeological discoveries over the years have revealed that
Babylon was once, indeed, a magnificent city that had, among other
things, (1) a wall about the main city more than 11 miles long and 85
feet thick; (2) many gates, including the Ishtar Gate with its enameled
bricks showing 575 dragons and bulls and 120 lions; and (3) the
gorgeously decorated palace of Nebuchadnezzar with its banquet hall
and throne room, 57 feet wide and 168 feet long. Yet, whatever its
ancient glory, as affirmed by archaeology, the city today remains in
ruins.

These were just a few times, out of dozens, that the Hittites were
mentioned in the Bible. For many years, however, this was seen as evidence
that the Bible couldn’t be trusted historically. Why? Because no
other ancient sources referred to the Hittites. Thus, some saw this lack
of other sources as proof that the Bible couldn’t be trusted. The
Hittites were deemed a mythical people, or, at most, an insignificant
tribe occupying a village or two. Thanks to numerous archaeological
discoveries, however, we now know that the Hittites once ruled the
greater part of Asia Minor, from the Mediterranean Sea to the
Euphrates River, and that their power was scarcely inferior to that of
Assyria or Egypt. It was only when the empire ended around 1200 B.C.
that they finally vanished from history, though small city-states
remained. Again, the rocks have cried out testifying to the accuracy of
the Bible.

No they can't. Bible thumpers drive me nuts. I'm a Spirtualist, so I bind myself to God Himself, not to a religion. I hate it when people come up to me and say "How have you lived for God today?" My reply is, "That's between me and God." I don't like Churches because they make me feel like I can't even think about sex without being struck by lightening. I can't be myself in a church which is why I never attend one. I use to when I was growing up, but eventually stopped. It was boring and they just said the same old bible stories I've heard a hundred times. I believe in God and I believe I'm living my life right by being loving, forgiving, and accepting of those who are different or less fortunate than myself.

"Can people in religion be taken seriously if they don't provide proof for their religious lies & deceptions?" is your loaded question.

If you view them as lies and deceptions to begin with, how could anyone provide proof that you would believe?

And yes, pity, pity ,pity, the people that ask the dumbest questions for they are probably the least of us, no doubt.

Never Alone
By: Barlowgirl

I waited for you today
But you didn’t show
I needed you today
So where did you go?

You told me to call
Said you’d be there
And though I cannot see you
Are you still there?

I cry out with no reply
And I can’t feel you by my side so…
I’ll hold tight to what I know
You’re here and I’m never alone

And though I cannot see you
And I can’t explain why
Such a deep, deep reassurance
You’ve placed in my life

We cannot separate cause you’re part of me
And though you’re invisible I’ll trust the unseen

I cry out with no reply
And I can’t feel you by my side so…
I’ll hold tight to what I know
You’re here and I’m never alone

Yes people can be taken seriouly when it comes to religion. Just b/c you can't see God doesn't mean he's not there and if you want to have pity on someone you need to have pity on yourselve.

i dont think is a nice discussion to bring forth. It only induces hatred.... but i think that the burden of proof lies with the believer of an ideology

Well, I doubt that any religion is going to provide proof of their religious lies & deceptions.
