An atheist states since God can not be proved therefore God does not exist.

Then an atheist relies upon the fallibility of "science," to champion the non-existence of God. Yet, science rests upon an accumulated knowledge base of over 20,000 years, and in all of that time "science," can not state how the Universe was created, or came into existence, except to state, "We don't know."
Nor can science state what the Universe actually is, and in fact can't even define gravity.

Science does know that the Theory of Relativity is incorrect.

So it is from the pitiful underpinnings of science that an atheist relies upon to absurdly discount the existence of God?

Now that is laughble. Therefore, Atheist= absurdium ad infintum.

The World...: Yes , one would think, but it is likely that their brains are not fully developed.
The Hindu's give accurate description the creation of the Universe and that it is a closed system. Funny, ain't it, "science," plagiarizing Religion? Creation of Universe Biblically, not disproved.

You mistake an important element of general atheist thought. You think that because there does not exist anything that can be proven, other than through tautology, that God is being rejected. I don't reject the existence of apples and it is still true their existence cannot be proven. I could be hallucinating them, or this whole thing could be an insubstantial dream as in the Matrix. There is no perfect evidence of the existence of apples, nor of appleness as a concept.

However, I accept the existence of apples on a preponderance of the evidence. There is little evidence that the fruit called apples does not exist.

However, religions make affirmative claims. Christianity claims there is a God with the further claim that Jesus, a Jew likely from Nazerath, was God. If this is true, then Christians should be able to show substantive proofs in the physical world, beyond belief, of this as the empirical image of reality. The bible is then a good or maybe excellent empirical image of the real world. Except, where is the evidence, other than word of mouth? If there is a God, why does He not impact the real world?

If there is a God, provide compelling evidence that a God exists. Religion is making an affirmative claim, prove it. If you cannot, if your proof is "it should be," or the world is too beautiful otherwise, or I believe the bible, that is not proof. Present evidence in the physical world. Devise an experiment whose outcome would be different if there were a God.

Interestingly someone did try that. They took hundreds of hospital patients and prayed for them. The control group was not told they were being prayed for and some people in the control group were not prayed for. The study group was told they were being prayed for. The study group was worse off statistically than the group that was unaware it was being prayed for. Further, if you were not prayed for the outcome was the same as if you were prayed for but did not know someone was praying for you.

Show evidence, the bible does not count as 85% of the world rejects it. Any time 85% of a group says evidence is false, I tend to accept it. The other 15% have just deluded themselves.

I guess god gave us all this great technology that you are using today to make your life easier.

Gravity has been defined by science, get your facts straight.
And secondly Science has created multiple theories on how and why the universe came into exsitance....theories just like how you (religious types) believe the theorie that an imaginary spirit waved some pixie dust and "poof" the universe was created, complete with life..animals and man. LOL so you tell me who the ridiculous one is now!

Science WILL give an explanation for the creation of the universe...more and more progress is made daily through astronomers and NASA. Which is more i can say for the belief in god, no new discovers no new evidence will ever be discovered, just what was said in a book that is hundred, maybe thousands of years old...

Well, I'm not nec an atheist, I'm just able to admit that I don't know. What I do know is that "God" in the portrait we paint him in is not real.. I reject the bible and its bs, that's only logical.. but outside of a biblical context could a creative being on such a scale exist, certainly. People who reject the bible and other religious doctrines are usually a confused people, but not nearly as confused as those who believe in the god of a certain religion, being, religions were either instigated as easy answers to questions people could not otherwise find a basis to try to answer or purposefully instigated to mislead the true science of the soul into a recycled world of entrapment. So why atheists above other groups may be manipulated? My guess is, people who don't know what to believe or uncertain in their beliefs are more likely to be persuaded over the other religious half that are too stubborn in their ways to ever consider they've had it wrong. It actually sounds like you're asking "why are people who aren't already manipulated so easily manipulated?" people are just easy to manipulate if you take advantage of what they may or may not know.

Yes, the athiests' argument is flawed. The theists' argument is even weaker. They ignore everything but one line from an old book despite the fact most the following lines have been shown to be allegory at best. At least atheists acknowledge what they do not know. Remind me, which chapter in the Bible defines the universe and explains gravity? Relativity is incomplete, not incorrect, just as Newtonian physics was incomplete. Your reasoning is so flawed that if atheists are laughable, you are the most pathetic thing in existence.

I don't think atheism is absurd...but I do find it strange that if science gives us answers, and it cannot prove whether or not God exists - then why are atheists anti-God? Shouldn't they agnostics?

Secondly, how can atheists be sure of atheism if Darwin's theory has so many holes in it?

Thirdly, why can't many atheists be open-minded about the possibility of the Christian God? Science asks us to be open-minded. Shouldn't atheists be very much so?

This is so absurd. Your tirade is what is really comical. Christians substitute "God did it" for "I don't know". It is wise to admit one does not know, rather than making a fool of himself pretending to know when it is obvious to intelligent people that he knows little. There are other things that disprove any gods' existence. The contradictions and infantile science in the Bible and other sacred books show that if any god exists he is an ignorant imbecile who could not possibly do the things with which he is credited.

then why are you people so desperate to sneak creationism/ID into SCIENCE classes?

Why does your computer not work by faith alone?

Science makes no claims about god; it is impossible to prove a negative. You, as the ones claiming sky daddies do exist, bear the burden of proof.

Hmmm... but you are suggesting that a 2000 year old book of plagiarized pagan mythology has all the answers... simply because ... it says it does?

I'm beginning to understand that you're an atheist who's simply trying to make religious people look stupid. Come on, fess up.

You're not really this stupid, are you...?

"An atheist states since God can not be proved therefore God does not exist."
--No he doesn't. That's illogical and I defy you to cite one instance on this board of an Athiest saying that.

I completely agree. Those rotten atheists can try all they want, but they will never be able to disprove the greatness and extraordinary power of Zeus.
