i like this question beause it asks for a personal view - and not "what make your religion right for others" - very cool.

for me, it "feels right" - teachings of love, grace and forgiveness "feel" right to me - you see, i am a follower of christ, but i do not call myself a "christian." for me, "christianity" has too much baggage i am unwilling to take and carry - but the teachings of christ excite me and show me that i need to be in relationships with others - to touch them, to live with them, to live for them, to be willing to share my life with them and to just get to know people for who they are - what makes it right for me is that i see i fall short of where jesus wants me to be - and i strive hard to reach that place - knowing it is not the destination but the journey that teaches the lessons :)

What makes my religion "right for me", is that it adheres to the Bible. So many people are "all set" with their religion because it's easy, and don't spend the time/effort to read through the Bible and decide if their religion's teachings are in line with God's word. God gave us the Bible to read and follow, not to accept a number of verses out of context and take someone's word on the rest...

I like things to make sense. I don't expect to understand every detail, but I do the main things and basic deep things. I understand how a computer works but could not build my own.

I do not like lies or liars. Religions that lie to their people are off my list. That includes mixing in paganisms with teachings from the Bible.

That is why I am a Jehovah's Witness.

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions...

Having said that, Here's the Solution for religion:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

What makes my religion right for me is I know there is a God in Heaven sitting at the right hand of God the Father. I know the Bible is His true word and guidance for my soul. I know the Holy Ghost is alive and well and Jesus is alive and well because I feel them in my soul and I know God loves me.

One must come to know Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ in order to live forever. (John 17:3)

Based upon this knowledge one can excercise the living faith that leads to eternal life. (John 3:16)

One must live up to God's requirements, which we learn by taking in the life saving knowledge mentioned above, in order to live forever. (Hebrews 5:9)

The one who would remain forever is the one who does the will of God. (Matthew 7:21; 1-John 2:17)

My association with the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses helps me to see and to meet God's requirements. THAT is why it is right for me!

That's like asking why I wear comfortable shoes.

My religion fits, it isn't for anyone to look at and go oooooh, because it's functional, not a showpiece, and it goes great with my wardrobe.

It is what I know to be true in my life. It gives me strength and perspective. It is also my culture.
