I didn't pay a bill that was on my credit report. It finally fell off after seven years. I recieved a call on it yesterday and the lady told me that even though it's not on my credit, it still affects my credit score. Is that true?

She is incorrect.

Anything that doe's not show on your credit, doe's not effect your score.

Just because it dropped off your credit bureau doe's not mean that the collection company will not still try and collect it. The only way out is to wait for the statute of limitations to run out and then you can tell them to go pound sand.

no, once it's paid off and it's not on your credit report it does not affect your score.

No, it doesn't, unless you didn't pay it and they show it as a write-off.
