Italian areas:

The Bronx: Arthur Ave near by the Bronx Zoo
Brooklyn: Bensonhurst
Queens: Howard Beach
Manhattan: Lower Manhattan, Mulberry St.

As for famous people, if they have kids, they are going to Central Park. You can also hang around the theatre district, the village and Washington Square Park.

The best places to go in NYC: Empire State Building, Ground Zero (which is a few blocks away from Little Italy), Top of the Rock, by Rockefellar Center, Times Square, Toys R Us, which is located in Times Square (the store has a working ferris wheel), FAO Schwartz (right across the street from Central Park, and celebrities do go in there), Metropolitan Muesuem of Art (Roman and Greek Sculptures on display), and Central Park.

Have fun!!!!

Woody Allen plays clarinet at Michael's Pub every Monday--at least, he used to. You can get tickets to shows that sometimes have celebrities in them, but it's hard to count on just seeing one on the street. You could hang around the Today show in Rockefeller Center, or near the ABC and CBS morning shows, if you want to look for famous people.
You can visit Little Italy, and if you go to Brooklyn, there are some wonderful Italian neighborhoods there.
I think your English is very good. :-)

At one time, Robert DeNiro lived on Hudson Street in Soho Manhattan. That was over 20 years ago, so I think he moved. Woody Allen lives on the upper East Side. Contact the NYC tourist center, there are tours where you could see where movies have been filmed in NYC. If you're lucky, you might see a film being made, most likely in Greenwich Village or Soho.

woody allen lives around my job somewere around park and 70th.. i saw him walking the street with his previous wife ( the really pale one ) and a baby carriage, robin williams lived around there too.. you'll see famous people sometimes but most NYCERS don't bother them .. they may say " hey is'nt that so and so " but thats it .. we have better things to do than to be slowed down by a movie stars haha
