Her teeth have nothing to do with her legs. Some children walk later than others. If you are that worried, take her to see her pediatrician. He can do a well-baby exam and check her development.

12 months is about average for babies to begin walking. However, since this is an average, you must remember that some children will walk earlier and some later. Most babies will walk sometime between 8-16 months and this is perfectly normal. Every baby is different. Is she able to sit alone and can she get places she wants to go by crawling, scooting, or rolling? If so, she is doing fine. Of my own 4 children, my youngest did not crawl until she was 12 months old and did not walk until 14 1/2 months, before that she got where she wanted to go by scooting around on her bottom. All you need to do is let her have plenty of time to play on the floor. She will pull herself up to stand when she is ready.

My oldest daughter didn't walk until she was about 14 months old. Part of that reason is that we tended to pick her up and carry her around all the time. Give her lots of time on the floor lying on a blanket with her toys around her. She will walk in her own good time!
By the way, my second child walked at 9 months, because we were so busy that we didn't pick her up all the time; also she wanted to keep up with big sister!

My ex boyfriends baby was the same way. He is a year and 3 months and he still isnt walking. And he also has some teeth. I just think it is something they need to learn on there own. You could prolly try walking with her between your legs or something. But all in all, she will grow into it. But i do wish you the best of luck with your baby.

Is your child a good size and how much belly time did they hve growning up? My son didn't start walking, by himself, until
about 15 months and my youngest started at 11 months. The older one didn't have much belly time and was 30lb by the age of 1. So he had to build more muscle mass just to carry himself. They take their own time.

She will walk when she is ready. It is not unusual for children not to be walking by this stage, my friends daughter didnt walk untill she was 15 months, but she was very advanced in other areas

It is very normal for a child to not be walking. A lot of people get nervous once their child turns one. Just relax. She will be walking soon.
