You can always dispute it. Whether or not it goes in your favor depends on the nature of the situation.

Being that you're only 19, it's more than likely that you have a lack of credit, rather than something on your credit that is bad. If you think otherwise, I would suggest getting a free credit report and looking at it. It should tell you what you've financed and what the payment history is. If there is something iffy on it, just contact that company and make arrangements to pay it off. If the fact is that you just don't have enough credit, get a couple of credit cards and pay them off every month or buy a car. Thise are the two best things to do to establish credit.

A few steps should be taken
a) Call to bank ask for dispute form.
b) When talking to them ask for the name. Take down person who handle your case. Thetime when you call
c) After receiving the forms, attached a letter to complaint.
d) The most practical way;- if you a good record a good payer, you juv tell them if you don't dispute the charges then you will cancel the card. This methods works... try it... Even for the annual fees you may do so. Make sure you are a good payer.

You need to find out what is on your credit report... After you find out whats on there, call the company that reported you to the credit company and ask them to send you something with "YOUR" signiture on it, as proof that you owe this debt... If they cannot produce a document stating you owe, then yes, you can dispute the matter

My suggestion is that you take this opportunity to learn as much as you can about credit. As far as disputing an account, you can dispute any account that you feel is inaccurate. May I suggest a site that can help you with your credit repair.. http://www.thecreditrepairmanual.com

Best of luck,

Write them a letter with the same command of the English language you just displayed in this question. They will then realize that they are dealing with someone who makes a low hourly wage, and probably give you a card that you have to secure with a deposit and it will have a low limit.

Start with a spell and grammar check.
Call the company that is "messing up your credit" and talk to them!
Get it rited!
