Hi Diva,
Well, first you have to identify which trucks you are talking about. There are MANY types of trucks; pickup trucks, short-haul delivery trucks, medium haul multiple axel trucks, and class-8 heavy duty big-rig trucks. Then you have to identify which fuel source they are burning, gasoline or diesel, or in some cases these days, propane.
Then you have to understand that global warming is a natural, recurring, event. Global warming occurs quite independant of what we do as a species on the planet. There simply isn't enough GHG (green house gas) produced by all of the trucks identified above, to make much of a difference in the global scale and long-term scheme of things.
Finally, you must understand that all fossil fuels burn in an internal combustion engine essentially the same way and produce essentially the same emissions, i.e.; COx, NOx, SOx, and particulates and water vapor.
As a side note, trucking is still, by far and away, the largest mover of goods and raw materials on the planet. It outstrips rail service and air service combined. It is still the most efficient means of distribution available.
hope this helps.

Well 10 facts be a bit too much concerning a truck...
But trucks have a tendency to give out more exhaust than a new car, which contributes to "unwanted" gases entering the atmosphere.
Trucks tend to use more gas, which is not a good thing concerning the circumstances going on...
haha thats all i know..trucks cause more pollution than most vehicles...i need to do some reading lol
