I ma actually happy with the lexapro at 20 mg since I dont seems to get real angry or upset but I am still getting depression and a little of anxeity. Since it is so hard me to find things that work I kinda dont want to mess with the Lexapro Since I do see a positive change (so does my wife LOl)and maybe just add something else. Any suggestion on what I should suggest to the doctor as an additive, like welbutrin or strattera or something...I dont know. Thanks for your help

Ask for Cymbalta. I just came off of Lexapro and Cymbalta is the bomb. I have no depression or anxiety. The things that used to make me made is no big deal anymore. I usually just laugh about it. Just out of curiosity have you gained weight on Lexapro. I did thats why my doc changed my medication.

I even have taken Celexa it relatively is an identical sort of drug as Lexapro. How long have you ever been taking this drug? it may take approximately 2-3 weeks for the completed influence. additionally melancholy in itself may well be slightly cyclic and you have stable days an undesirable days. So what i could do. supply it a pair of weeks from the time you all started taking it. in case you nonetheless have this cyclic difficulty and sense like it relatively is not working properly, making you drained and such. communicate on your wellbeing care expert, there are different drugs the can use, at the same time or change all at the same time. i got here across Wellbutrin and Celexa to be a stable mixture.

I felt the same way so I went up to 30mg of Lexapro and it helped. From the beginning, I was also put on Ativan for my anxiety/panic attacks. I got addicted very fast so I was switched to 1.5mg of Klonopin (1mg in the AM, 0.5 in the PM). I haven't had any addiction problems with the Klonopin and it really helps with my anxiety and I don't have panic attacks anymore. I was also just put on 5mg of Abilify as a 'mood stabilizer' to help with any mood swings or 'psychotic' behavior I have that regular anti-depressants can't help. The Abilify has not started working yet so I can't comment on it now...

I would suggest talking to your doctor. You may have to switch to find the right med. I was on Paxil for years, but found it wasn't working anymore. I went off of all meds, but ended up getting 'cranky' again. Started on Lexapro, and for me, it works wonders. Much better than Paxil.
