donwload an older version of media player. Media player 9 doesnt use the authentication tool when installing and i dont think 10 does either. These should be available from microsoft or by googling windows media player 9. Or alternatively purchase a legal copy of windows, install and download WMP11.

U can download and install Service pack 2. But u cannot install WMP 11 in the duplicate copy since the installer will validate the copy of windows. U need to buy a valid copy of windows to use WMP 11. Microsoft is gonna use this validation process in all the upcoming releases and updates...........

Looks like you have been a victim of software counterfieting by a cheap reseller. Check out http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ for more details on how to get Original Microsoft Windows.

if your version of windows is legit than contact microsoft and they will walk you thru the fix. If not than when you downloaded the new wmp it also installed the wpa check that triggered your "not valid" status. 3 choices...1. live with it 2. re-install windows , but disable auto updates and download service packs & ms software (don't install software that includes wga on install!!) with a valid computer and then install on yours. 3. disable the wga notices The link will give you the info you need to disable wga notices

your window is not original. so i suggest you don't open Microsoft.com. and solution of your problem is that go to the add or remove programmes(found in control panel) then click on show update then rollback the media player 11. do it fast as you can.and don't open Microsoft.com.
Then please mail me what happen

I don't think you really can do anything about it because it's happened to me before and I just had to get a new computer.
My step dad built that computer for me and he must have done illegally.
